supriy ke poojan se prasann bhagavan shiv ne svayan pashupatastr lekar pramukh rakshasoan ko, unake anucharoan ko tatha unake sare sansadhanoan (astr-shastr) ko nasht kar diya. lila karane ke lie svayan sharir dharan karane vale bhagavan shiv ne apane bhakt supriy adi ki raksha karane ke bad us van ko bhi yah var diya ki ‘aj se is van mean brahman, kshatriy, vaishy tatha shoodr, in charoan varnoan ke dharmoan ka palan kiya jaega. is van mean shiv dharm ke pracharak shreshth rrishi-muni nivas kareange aur yahaan tamasik dusht rakshasoan ke lie koee sthan n hoga.’

rakshasoan par aye isi bhari sankat ko dekhakar rakshasi darooka ne dainyabhav (dinata ke sath) se devi parvati ki stuti, vinati adi ki. usaki prarthana se prasann mata parvati ne poochha– ‘batao, maian tera kaun-sa priy kary karooan?’! darooka ne kaha– ‘maan! ap mere kul (vansh) ki raksha karean.’ parvati ne usake kul ki raksha ka ashvasan dete hue bhagavan shiv se kaha– ‘nath! apaki kahi huee bat is yug ke ant mean saty hogi, tab tak yah tamasik srishti bhi chalati rahe, aisa mera vichar hai.’ mata parvati shiv se agrah karati hueean bolian ki ‘maian bhi apake ashray mean rahane vali hooan, apaki hi hooan, isalie mere dvara diye gaye vachan ko bhi ap saty (pramanit) karean. yah rakshasi darooka rakshasiyoan mean balishth, meri hi shakti tatha devi hai. isalie yah rakshasoan ke rajy ka shasan karegi. ye rakshasoan ki patniyaan apane rakshasaputroan ko paida karegi, jo mil-julakar is van mean nivas kareange-aisa mera vichar hai.’

mata parvati ke ukt prakar ke agrah ko sunakar bhagavan shiv ne unase kaha– ‘priy! tum meri bhi bat suno. maian bhaktoan ka palan tatha unaki suraksha ke lie prasannatapoorvak is van mean nivas karooanga. jo manushy varnashram-dharm ka palan karate hue shraddha-bhaktipoorvak mera darshan karega, vah chakravarti raja banega. kali yug ke ant mean tatha sat yug ke prarambh mean mahasen ka putr virasen rajaoan ka maharaj hoga. vah mera param bhakt tatha b da parakrami hoga. jab vah is van mean akar mera darshan karega. usake bad vah chakravarti samrat ho jaega.’ tatpashchath b di-b di lilaean karane vale shiv-dampatti ne apas mean hasy-vilas ki batean ki aur vahian par sthit ho gaye. is prakar shivabhaktoan ke priy jyotirliang svaroop bhagavan shiv ‘nageshvar’ kahalaye aur shiva (parvati) devi bhi ‘nageshvari’ ke nam se vikhyat hueean. is prakar shiv jyotirliang ke roop mean prakat hue haian, jo tinoan logoan ki kamanaoan ko poorn karane vale haian. jo koee is nageshvar mahadev ke avirbhav ki katha ko shraddha-premapoorvak sunata hai, usake samast patak nasht ho jate haian aur vah apane sampoorn abhisht phaloan ko prapt kar leta hai–
