in donon khandon men raikv rishi ke dvara prashn poochhe jane par ghor angiras rishi ne srishti ki prakriya ke vishay men vivechan karate hue virat brahm dvara sabhi varnon, pran, vedon, vrikshon, pashu-pakshiyon tatha samast jivon ke srijan ka ullekh kiya hai. chhandogy upanishad ke chhathe adhyay men isaka poora varnan hai.

tisara khand

is khand men, 'atmatattv' ke svaroop ko batate hue use janane ki vidhi batayi gayi hai. isaka pahale bhi ullekh kiya ja chuka hai. brihadaranyakopanishad ke tisare adhyay ke athaven brahman men 'aksharabrahm' ke prasng men isaka vistrit vivechan hain.

chautha khand

is khand men, hriday men atma ki sthiti batayi gayi hai. yah 'atma' sharir ki bahattar hazar nadiyon men vidyaman hai.

panchavan khand

is khand men, ajar-amar atma ki upasana ka ullekh ankh, nak, kan, jihva, tvacha, man, buddhi, ahnkar, chitt, vani, hath, pair, payu aur upasth adi sharirik angon ke dvara kiya gaya hai. yahan in sabhi angon ko adhyatm ki sngya di gayi hai.

chhatha khand

is khand men, ankh, kan, nasika, jihva adi indriyon ko adity, rudr, vayu bataya hai aur rigved, samaved, yajurved adi ko narayan-roop mana hai.

satavan khand

is khand men, prithvi, jal, vayu, tej adi men vidyaman us chetana-shakti ka ullekh hai, jise prithivi, jal, vayu, man, tej, buddhi adi jan nahin pate. vah narayan-roop hai.

athavan khand

is khand men, hriday-roopi gufa men sthit anand-svaroop atmatattv ka ullekh kiya gaya hai.

nauvan khand

is khand men bataya gaya hai ki jagat ke samast padarth, chakshu, shrotr, nasika adi se hote hue antat: turiy (tivr gatishil brahm) men vilin ho jate hain.

dasavan khand

is khand men, sabhi jivon aur padarthon ko vibhinn lokon men pratishthit hote hue, ant men atm-roop brahm men pratishthit hote hue bataya gaya hai.

gyarahavan khand

is khand men atmatattv ke uparant, vigyan sharir ke dagdh karane men kin-kin padarthon ko dagdh karata hai, isaka ullekh hai. pnchatattv kis prakar shoony men vilin ho jate hain, isaka varnan hai. ant men keval 'sat' bachata hai.

solahavan khand

is khand men upanishad ki mahatta aur phalashruti ka varnan hai. yahan subal ko brahm ka bij bataya bataya gaya hai. is upanishad ko shishy, putr aur atishay shant vyakti ko hi dena chahie. yahi nirvan hain.
