adhyas advait vedaant ka paribhashik shabd hai. ek vastu mean doosari vastu ka jnan adhyas kahalata hai. rassi ko dekhakar sarp ka jnan isaka udaharan hai. yahaan par rassi saty hai, kiantu usamean sarp ka jnan mithya hai. mithya jnan bina saty adhar ke sanbhav nahian hai, at: adhyas ke do paksh mane jate haian. saty aur anrit ya mithya ka 'mithunikaran' adhyas ka mool karan hai.
