dhyanamanjari ke lekhak svami agradas the. agradas san 1556 ee. mean vartaman the aur us samay tak unaki khyati bhi door-door tak vyapt ho chuki thi. at: 'dhyanamanjari' usi samay ki kriti hogi. isaki prakashit pratiyoan mean rachana tithi ke sambandh mean koee sanket nahian milata hai. 'nagari pracharini sabha', kashi mean 'agrapadavali' nam se inaki rachanaean surakshit haian.

prakashan

katha mean navinata

'dhyanamanjari' ki katha mean kuchh navinata milati hai. ram ke shodashavarshiy roop ka dhyan karane ko kaha gaya hai. is navinata ki vyakhya kadachith yah kahakar ki ja sakati hai ki bhagavan ram ka sita aur hanuman donoan se hi nirantar sahachary rahata hai.

bhasha-shaili

'dhyanamanjari' brajabhasha mean rola chhand mean likhi gayi hai. isaki bhasha saral tatha alankrit hai. kahian-kahian vibhaktiyoan mean adhunikata milati hai, jaise karmakarak mean yahaan 'ko' anusarg ka hi prayog milata hai- kauan, kaian, kean, kooan, ya kuan ka nahian.

mahattv

is granth ka mahattv 'ramanand sampraday' mean madhuryabhav ki bhakti ki drishti se vishesh hai. svami agradas is bhakti ke pravartak kahe jate haian aur unaki 'dhyanamanjari', 'ashtayam' adi rachanaean is bhav ke upasakoan ke lie sandarbh granth mane jate haian.[1]
