अन्य विवरण 'जमशेद जी जीजाभाई' भारतीय-पारसी व्यापारी और परोपकारी थे, जो बाद में एक ब्रिटिश शूरवीर और बैरोनेट थे। उन्होंने चीन के साथ कपास और अफ़ीम के व्यापार में सफलता पाई। वह अपने व्यवसाय से अत्यंत धनी बने दानवीर थे। जमशेद जी जीजाभाई का सबसे अधिक नाम उनकी दानशीलता के कारण है।
