| अन्य विवरण | धनुष की सहायता से बाण चलाना निस्संदेह बहुत प्राचीन कला है, जिसका चलन आज भी है। आहार और आत्मरक्षा के लिए संसार के सभी भागों में अन्य हथियारों की अपेक्षा धनुष बाण का प्रयोग सर्वाधिक और व्यापक हुआ है। आदिकाल से लेकर 16 वीं शताब्दी तक धनुषबाण मनुष्य के निरंतर सहायक रहे हैं; यहाँ तक कि जब अग्न्यस्त्रों ने इनकी उपयोगिता समाप्त कर दी, तब भी खेल, शौक और मनोरंजन के रूप में इनका प्रयोग चलता रहा है। |
