हाइड्रोजन के समस्थानिक

प्रोटियम
प्रोटियम का परमाणु संख्या एक तथा द्रव्यमान संख्या भी एक होती है।
ड्यूटेरियम
ड्यूटेरियम को भारी हाइड्रोजन कहा जाता है। इसका परमाणु संख्या 1 तथा द्रव्यमान संख्या 2 होती है। ड्यूटेरियम की खोज यूरे ब्रिकवेड और मर्फी ने 1931 में की। ड्यूटेरियम का उपयोग कार्बनिक प्रतिक्रियाओं की क्रियाविधि समझाने में तथा नाभिकीय प्रतिक्रियाओं में बमबारी के लिए होता है।
ट्राइटियम
यह हाइड्रोजन का एक दुर्लभ समस्थानिक है। यह एक बीटा उत्सर्जक हैं। इसकी परमाणु संख्या 1 तथा द्रव्यमान संख्या 3 होती है। इसकी अर्द्ध आयु 12.4 वर्ष होती है।
