ukt mantrochcharan se devaguru ne shravani ke hi din raksha vidhan kiya. sahadharmini iandrani ke sath vritt sanharak iandr ne brihaspati ki us vani ka aksharash: palan kiya aur danavoan par vijay prapt ki.

rakshabandhan ka dharmik mahattv

isake atirikt is din rrishi-maharshi upakarm karakar vyaktiyoan ko vidya-adhyayan karana arambh karate haian. doodh, dahi, ghi, gobar aur goo mootr milakar panchagavy banate haian aur use pan karate haian tatha havan karate haian. ise upakarm kahate haian. upakarm sanskar karakar jab vyakti apane ghar lautate haian tab bahanean unaka svagat karati haian aur unake daean hath mean rakhi baandhati haian. is vidhan se bhi shravani shukl poornima ko rakshabandhan ka tyohar manaya jata hai.

utsarj kriya

shravani shukl poornima ko soory ko jal chadhakar soory ki stuti karate haian tatha arundhati sahit sapt rrishiyoan ki pooja karate haian aur dahi-sattoo ki ahutiyaan dete haian. is kriya ko utsarj kahate haian. yah utsarj kriya bhi shravani shukl ki poornima ko hoti hai.

bahinoan ki raksha ka mahotsav

rakshabandhan bahan aur bhaee ke sneh ka tyohar hai. poora din ullas v harshapoorn hota hai. gharoan ki saphaee hoti hai tatha bahanean subah snanadi ke pashchath adhirata se apane bhaee ki pratiksha karati haian ki ve aean, taki unhean rakhi ka pavitr dhaga baandha ja sake. jab tak bhaee ko rakhi n baandhean tab tak bahanean vrat rakhati haian. rakhi baandhane ke bad hi khana khati haian. rakhi bandhava kar bhaee apani bahanoan ko anek prakar ki bheant pradan karate haian. vigat samay mean yah tyohar pati-patni ke apasi prem aur stri ki saubhagy raksha ka pratik tha.

brahman, purohit aur yajaman

rakshabandhan ke din desh mean kee sthanoan par brahman, purohit bhi apane yajaman ki samriddhi hetu unhean raksha baandhate haian, jisaki unhean dakshina bhi milati hai. raksha baandhate samay brahman yah mantr padhata jata hai —

arth- jis prakar ke uddeshy poorti hetu danav - samrat mahabali, raksha - sootr se baandha gaya tha (raksha sootr ke prabhav se vah vaman bhagavan ko apana sarvasv dan karate samay vichalit nahian hua), usi prakar he raksha sootr! aj maian tumhean baandhata hooan. too bhi apane uddeshy se vichalit n ho, dridh bana rahe.
