purusharth, sachchi lagan, udyam aur tap ki garima ke roop mean maharshi vishvamitr ke saman shayad hi koee ho. inhoanne apane purusharth se, apani tapasya ke bal se kshatriyatv se brahmatv prapt kiya, rajarshi se brahmarshi bane, devataoan aur rrishiyoan ke liye poojy ban gaye aur unhean saptarshiyoan mean anyatam sthan prapt hua. sath hi sabake liye ve vandaniy bhi ban gaye. inaki apar mahima hai. inhean apani samadhija prajna se anek mantrasvaroopoan ka darshan hua, isaliye ye 'mantradrashta rrishi' kahalate haian.
