bhiksha bhi adhikatar vanaprasthiyoan ke ashram se hi grahan kare; kyoanki kate hue khetoan ke dane se bani huee bhiksha shighr hi chitt ko shuddh kar deti hai aur usase bacha-khucha moh door hokar siddhi prapt ho jati hai . vicharavanh sannyasi drishyaman jagath ko saty vastu kabhi n samajhe; kyoanki yah to pratyaksh hi nashavanh hai. is jagath mean kahian bhi apane chitt ko lagaye nahian. is lok aur paralok mean jo kuchh karane-pane ki ichchha ho, usase virakt ho jay . sannyasi vichar kare ki atma mean jo man, vani aur pranoan ka sanghataroop yah jagath hai, vah sara-ka-sara maya hi hai. is vichar ke dvara isaka badh karake apane svaroop mean sthit jo jay phir kabhi usaka smaran bhi n kare . jnananishth, virakt, mumukshu aur moksh ki bhi apeksha n rakhane vala mera bhakt ashramoan ko maryada mean baddh nahian hai. vah chahe to ashramoan aur unake chinhoan ko chho d-chha dakar, ved-shastr ke vidhi-nishedhoan se pare hokar svachchhand vichare . vah buddhiman hokar bhi balakoan ke saman khele. nipun hokar bhi j davath rahe, vidvan hokar bhi pagal ki tarah batachit kare aur samasy ved-vidhiyoan ka janakar hokar bhi pashuvritti se (aniyat acharavanh) rahe . use chahiye ki vedoan ke karmakand-bhag ki vyakhya mean n lage, pakhand n kare, tark-vitark se bache aur jahaan kora vad-vivad ho raha ho, vahaan koee paksh n le . vah itana dhairyavanh ho ki usake man mean kisi bhi prani se udveg n ho aur vah svayan bhi kisi prani ko udvign n kare. usaki koee ninda kare, to prasannata se sah le; kisi ka apaman n kare. priy uddhav! sannyasi is sharir ke liye kisi se bhi vair n kare. aisa vair to pashu karate haian . jaise ek hi chandrama jal se bhare hue vibhinn patroan mean alag-alag dikhayi deta hai, vaise hi ek hi paramatma samast praniyoan mean aur apane mean bhi sthit hai. sabaki atma to ek hai hi, panchabhootoan se bane hue sharir bhi sabake ek hi hai, kyoanki sab paanch bhautik hi to haian. (aisi avastha mean kisi se bhi vair-virodh karana apana hi vair-virodh haian) . priy uddhav! sanyasi ko kisi din yadi samay par bhojan n mile, to use duahkhi nahian hona chahiye aur yadi barabar milata rahe, to harshit n hona chahiye. use chahiye ki vah dhairy rakhe. man mean harsh aur vishad donoan prakar ke vikar n ane de; kyoanki bhojan milana aur n milana donoan hi prarabdh ke adhin haian . bhiksha avashy maangani chahiye, aisa karana uchit ho hai; kyoanki bhiksha se hi pranoan ki raksha hoti hai. pran rahane se hi tatv ka vichar hota hai aur tatvavichar se tatvajnan hokar mukti mukti milati hai . sanyasi ko prarabdh ke anusar achchhi ya buri—jaisi bhi bhiksha mil jay, usi se pet bhar le. vastr aur bichhaune bhi jaise mil jayan, unhian se kam chala le. unamean achchhepan ya burepan ki kalpana n kare . jaise maian parameshvar hone par bhi apani lila se hi shauch adi shastrokt niyamoan ka palan karata hooan, vaise hi jnananishth purush bhi shauch, achaman, snan aur doosare niyamoan ka lila se hi acharan kare. vah shastravidhi ke adhin hokar—vidhi-kiankar hokar n kare .
