| अन्य विवरण | भीमताल इस अंचल का बड़ा ताल है। यह उत्तराखंड के कुमाऊँ क्षेत्र की सबसे बड़ी झील है। यह झील समुद्र तल से 1332 मीटर की ऊँचाई पर स्थित है। इसकी लम्बाई 1674 मीटर, चौड़ाई 427 मीटर और गहराई 30 मीटर है। यह ताल नैनीताल से बड़ा है। खुले आसमान और विस्तृत धरती का सही आनन्द लेने वाले पर्यटक अधिकतर भीमताल में ही रहना पसन्द करते हैं। |
