| अन्य विवरण | कपास नकदी फ़सल है। इससे रूई तैयार की जाती है, कपास को जिसे 'सफ़ेद सोना' भी कहा जाता है। कपास लम्बे रेशे वाले सबसे सर्वोत्तम प्रकार के होते हैं, जिसकी लम्बाई 5 सें. मी. से अधिक होती है। इससे उच्च कोटि का कपड़ा बनाया जाता है। तटीय क्षेत्रों में पैदा होने के कारण इसे समुद्र द्वीपीय कपास भी कहते हैं। |
