| अन्य विवरण | मक्का, 'ग्रामिनी' कुल की लंबी उगने वाली एकवर्षी घास है। इसकी जड़ें तंतुवत प्रकार की होती हैं। तना मोटा, गोल तथा जातियों के अनुसार 4 से 10 फ़ुट तक लंबा होता है। पौधे में शाखाएँ नहीं होतीं। तने में पर्वसंधि मोटी एवं पर्व ठोस होते हैं। पत्तियाँ लंबी, रेखीय तथा चौड़ी होती हैं। |
