| अन्य विवरण | सहारा रेगिस्तान या 'ग्रेट सहारा रेगिस्तान' विश्व का सर्वाधिक गर्म और अंटार्कटिका के बाद दूसरा सबसे विशाल रेगिस्तान है। यह उत्तरी अफ़्रीका में स्थित है। यह रेगिस्तान इतना बड़ा है कि विश्व की समस्त मरुभूमि का यह आधा भाग है। माना जाता है कि किसी समय सहारा हरा-भरा क्षेत्र हुआ करता था और उसके कुछ भाग पर सागर लहराता था। |
