| अन्य विवरण | बॉक्साइट एक खनिज है। यह पत्थर सर्वप्रथम फ्रांस में लैस बौक्स के निकट मिला था। इसी आधार पर इस खनिज का नाम बॉक्साइट पड़ा। इसी खनिज से विश्व का अधिकांश ऐलुमिनियम निकाला जाता है। इसका रंग सफ़ेद या भूरा होता है। सामान्यत: इसमें लोहे का अंश विद्यमान रहता है। |
