अन्य विवरण साबरमती आश्रम भारत के गुजरात राज्य अहमदाबाद ज़िले के प्रशासनिक केंद्र अहमदाबाद के समीप साबरमती नदी के किनारे स्थित है। महात्मा गांधी जब अपने 25 साथियों के साथ दक्षिणी अफ्रीका से भारत लौटे तो 25 मई, 1915 को अहमदाबाद में कोचरब स्थान पर "सत्याग्रह आश्रम" की स्थापना की गई।
