अन्य विवरण सूर्य मंदिर भारत के उड़ीसा राज्य के पुरी ज़िले के पुरी नामक शहर में स्थित है। कोणार्क सूर्य मंदिर के लिए प्रसिद्ध है। यह मंदिर कोणार्क की रेतीली भूमि पर स्थित है। पुरातत्त्व और ऐतिहासिक दृष्टि से यह मंदिर बड़ा महत्त्वपूर्ण हैं।
