kari patta atyant paushtik tatha kailshiyam, ph aausphoras, lauh, protin aur vitamin e, vitamin bi-1, vitamin bi-2, niyasin aur vitamin `si´ ka shreshth srot hai. kari patta pachan-sambandhi vikaroan ke upachar mean atyant upayogi hai. kari patte ko madhumeh ke upachar mean bhi istemal kiya jata hai. kari patta jalan, bavasir (arsh), krimi (ki de), soojan kodh aur jahar ko nasht karane vale jaise rogoan ke lie bhi upayogi hai.
