'divya' yashapal ke shreshth upanyasoan mean ek se hai. is upanyas mean yug-yug ki us dalit-pi dit nari ki karun katha hai, jo anekanek sangharshoan se guzarati huee apana svasth marg pahachan leti hai. 'divya' upanyas 'amita' ki bhaanti aitihasik upanyas hai . yashapal ji ka ‘divya’ ek kalpanik aitihasik upanyas hai. unhoanne ne ise marksavadi drishtikon se likha hai. is upanyas ki nayika divya anek prakar ke sangharsh jhelati hai. yah ek romaans virodhi upanyas hai. yashapal ji ki divya bhagavaticharan varma ki chitralekha se is mamale mean alag hai ki jahaan chitralekha ko paristhitiyoan ke karan jivan mean koee rah nahian soojhati, vahi divya mean rah ki khoj hai. ‘amita’ yashapal ji ka doosara aitihasik upanyas hai. kintu isamean vah ooanchaee nahian hai jo ‘amita’ mean hai.[1]
