itana kahakar madari, ustare se, shankar ke bal saf karane laga.

"chaudhari sahab ! maian adhe khet ko to par kar chuka hooan. ab yahian se gho da vapas lautauanga to gho de ki vajah se apaki fasal aur kharab hogi, isase achchha hai ki maian sidha hi nikal jaooan, age se dhyan rakhooanga aur idhar se nahian aooanga...?"
lekin shankar ko to bat jami nahian aur vo bhag kar ghu dasavar ke pas pahuancha aur usane 'too aise nahian manega' kahate hue ghu dasavar ka pair pak d kar use gho de se girana chaha, lekin ghu dasavar ne gho de par baithe-baithe hi shankar ke sine mean ek zoradar lat mari, jisase shankar gir gaya. isake bad ghu dasavar ne niche utar kar shankar ke pair hava mean karake usaka muanh zamin mean rag d diya aur 'too kya samajhata hai ? too hi chaudhari hai... maian bhi to chaudhari hooan...' kahata hua chala gaya.

ekant ki sabhyata kya hogi? jis tarah dharm aur jati kisi doosare ki upasthiti mean hi astitv mean ate haian usi tarah sabhyata bhi kisi doosare ke ane par hi janm leti hai. ekant ki sabhyata kya ho sakati hai? yah vah sthiti hai jahaan ham sochate haian- 'yahaan kaun dekh raha hai mujhe... aisa karane mean kya buraee hai?' jaise hi ham aisa sochate haian, vaise hi ham abhadr ho jate haian.

"ap ke lie bhi nahian, lekin ap ke lie kyoan nahian?" yatri ne poochha.
"haan mere lie bhi mat kholana... kyoan ki is jangal mean ek mayavi rakshas rahata hai, vah kisi ka bhi bhes badal leta hai aur avaz bana leta hai, yadi vah yahaan aega to mere hi chehare aur avaz ke sath aega, vah bahut khataranak hai, lekin chinta mat karo, vah is mazaboot daravaze ko nahian to d paega, isalie tum surakshit ho, jab tak ki tum daravaza band rakhate ho." itana kahakar sadhu jangal ki or chala gaya. dampatti ne daravaza band kar liya aur so ge.
sadhu bahut samajhadar aur anubhavi tha. vah janata tha ki buddhi bhrasht hone par kya bhayankar parinam ho sakate haian. aisa nahian hai ki use apane sanyam par bharosa n tha, lekin vah kisi prakar ka koee jokhim nahian uthana chahata tha. vah janata tha ki apane oopar bharosa karane se achchha hai kisi bhi viparit paristhiti ko banane se pahale hi rok diya jay.
sadhu ko jis bat ka dar tha, hua bhi vahi. rat mean sadhu ka sanyam toot gaya aur usake man mean navavivahita ka suandar chehara ghoomane laga. usane kee bar daravaza khatakhataya aur use khulavane ki vinati ki lekin navavivahit jo de ne daravaza nahian khola. har kar sadhu ne kaha-
"yahaan koee rakshas nahian hai, yah maianne jhooth-mooth ko kah diya tha, yah to maian hi hooan, daravaza kholo....!"
"ham daravaza nahian kholeange kyoanki sadhu maharaj ne mana kiya hai... tum chale jao."

       sabhyata ka aur bhadrata ka bhi vahi masala hai. ise ham aise kah sakate haian ki sabhyata odhi jati hai aur bhadrata dharan ki jati hai. sabhyata dimag mean hoti hai aur bhadrata man mean. sabhyata vyavahar mean hoti hai aur bhadrata svabhav mean. sabhyata chetana mean hi rahati hai aur bhadrata achetan mean bhi. sabhyata samaj mean hoti hai aur bhadrata svayan mean.
