purane samay ki bat hai ek raja ke rajy men behad sundar bagicha tha. yah koee mamooli bagicha nahin tha. ise dekhane duniya bhar se log aya karate the. is bagiche ke itane sundar hone ka karan tha 'raman'. raman hi is sundar udyan ka karta-dharta tha. boodha ho raha tha raman aur use chinta sata rahi thi ki usake bad bag ka kya hoga ?
akhirakar usane raja se kaha-
"maharaj ! main vriddh ho gaya hoon aur mere jivan ka kya pata ki aj hoon kal nahin... mere bad udyan ka kya hoga yahi chinta mujhe khae ja rahi hai."
"tumane socha kya hai raman ?"
"maharaj ! main yatra par jana chahata hoon, jisase mujhe ek aisa vyakti mil jae jo apake is vishv prasiddh udyan ki sahi dekhabhal kar sake. yadi apaki agya ho to main yatra par chala jaun ?"
is tarah raman desh ki yatra par nikal gaya...
anek nagaron ka bhraman karane ke bad vah kashi pahuncha. jab kashi men bhi use apane mapadand ke anusar koee vyakti nahin mila to vah nirash ho kar vapas lautane laga. raste men tez dhoop thi aur bhaynkar garmi pad rahi thi. chalate-chalate usane dekha ki kuchh mazadoor patthar tod rahe hain. un mazadooron men ek mahila bhi thi jo sabhi ke sath barabar kam kar rahi thi.
raman ne apani gadi rukavaee aur ek mazadoor se poochha-
"itani kadi dhoop men kya kar rahe ho bhaee?"
"karenge kya... patthar tod rahe hain." mazadoor nirasha se bola
thoda age chalakar usane ek aur mazadoor se bhi yahi saval kiya to doosare mazadoor ne javab diya
"rozi roti kama rahe hain sarakar aur hamare pas karane ko hai hi kya ?"
jab raman ki gadi us mahila ke pas pahunchi to ek bar phir raman ne vahi saval doharaya
mahila ne patthar todana rokakar raman se kaha-
"ham yahan ek bhavy mndir bana rahe hain, jo apane-ap men vilakshan hoga aur vishal bhi hoga. yatriyon ko ashray milega sath hi svasth vatavaran bhi. jab yah ban jae to ap dekhane avashy ana"
itana sunate hi raman us mahila ko parivar sahit raja ke pas le gaya aur mahila ko udyan ki dekharekh ki zimmedari de di.
jab raja ko pata chala to raja ne poochha-
"raman ! tumane ek anapadh mazadoor mahila ko udyan ki zimmedari de di hai isake pichhe kya karan hai ?"
"maharaj ! mere pas udyan ki dekh-bhal ke lie vanaspati shastri se lekar bhoomi-shastri tak sabhi vidvanh sadaiv upasthit rahate hain. mujhe avashyakata thi to ek aise vyakti ki jo ki kisi bhi kary ko karane ko poori tarah se sakaratmak drishtikon ka gun rakhata ho kyonki aisa vyakti hi srijanakarta ho sakata hai. chilachilati dhoop men, mndir ke lie patthar to vahan sabhi mazadoor tod rahe the lekin is mahila ka, patthar todane ke kary ko 'mndir nirman kary' samajh kar mehanat karana ek sakaratmak soch ka sabase achchha udaharan hai. maharaj ! mahanh arthashastri chanaky ne likha hai ki gyan prapt karane se koee vyakti yogy ho sakata hai guni nahin ho sakata. yahi dhyan men rakhate hue mainne jahan yogy vidvanon ko udyan ke lie chuna,  vahin par kam se kam ek guni vyakti ko bhi chuna."

aie ab bharatakosh par chalate hain. 
sakaratmak soch ka matalab kya hai ? kise kahate hain sakaratmak soch aur isaki adat kaise dali jae ? 
ek bar mahanh darshanik je. krishnamoorti se kisi ne prashn kiya-
"main apane mata-pita ki izzat karana chahata hoon aur unhen samman dena chahata hoon to mujhe kya karana chahie ?"
isake uttar men krishnamoorti ne kaha-
"tum unaka apaman karana bnd kar do to unaka samman apane-ap ho jaega. yadi tum sadaiv is bat ka dhyan rakho ki kahin bhool se bhi mere mata-pita ka apaman to nahin ho gaya to ve svayn hi sammanit ho jaenge."
yahi bat sakaratmak soch par bhi lagoo hoti hai. yadi ham nakaratmak ravaiya chhod den to sakaratmak soch apane-ap hi ban jati hai lekin kaise chhoden nakaratmak soch ?

nakaratmak soch ke kuchh udaharan-
  • spardha men svayn ko jitane ki bajay doosare ko harane ki soch
  • prem men premi ya premika ka prem pane ki bajay premi ya premika ko pane (hasil karane) ki ichchha
  • apani kamazori chhupane ke lie doosare ki shikayat karana
  • vyapar men 'shaaurtakat' talash karana ya gairaqanooni tariqe apanana
  • apani aur doosaron ki suraksha ke prati laparavah rahana
  • turnt parinam ki ummid men har samay adhir rahana 
  • jisase kam ho sirf usi se milane ki ichchha rakhana

... tamam aise hi udaharan hain jinase hamari nakaratmak soch zahir hoti hai.
sakaratmak soch ka vyakti banane ke bahut upay hain jinamen se ek hai 'dhairy'. dhairy ko samajhana zaroori hai. yadi ham bina baichain hue kisi ka intazar kar sakate hain to ham dhairyavan hain. sahaj hokar, sannd pratiksha karana, sabase avashyak gun hai. yadi yah gun hamare bhitar nahin hai to hamen yah yogyata paida karani chahie. pratiksha kisi ki bhi ho sakati hai; kisi vyakti ki, kisi saphalata ki ya kisi natije ki. pratiksha karane men bechaini hone se hamari soch ka pata chalata hai. pratiksha karane men yadi bechaini hoti hai to yah soch nakaratmak soch hai. pratiksha ka annd lene vala hi sakaratmak vyakti hota hai.
bahut kam log aise hain jo pratiksha karane men bechain nahin hote. sidhi si bat hai ki sakaratmak soch ke vyakti bhi bahut kam hi hote hain. asal men ham jitane adhik nasamajh hote hain utana hi pratiksha karane men bechain rahate hain. bachchon ko yadi ham dekhen to asani se samajh sakate hain ki kisi ki pratiksha karane men bachche kitane adhir hote hain. dhire-dhire jab umr badhati hai to yah adhirata kam hoti jati hai kyonki unamen 'samajh' a jati hai. isi 'samajh' ko samajhana zaroori hai kyonki jab tak ham yah nahin samajhenge ki hamare jivan men pratiksha ka kya mahattv hai aur isaka hamare jivan par kya prabhav hota hai tab tak ham sakaratmak soch nahin samajh sakate.
sabhi ko kisi n kisi ki pratiksha hai. raja ho ya rnk isase koee antar nahin padata. sadhu-snt bhi eeshvar darshan ki ya moksh ki pratiksha men rahate hain. yahan samajhane vali bat ye hai ki ham pratiksha kaise kar rahe hain. yadi koee snt moksh ki pratiksha men hai aur vah sahaj roop se yah pratiksha nahin kar raha to usaka marg hi poornataya arthahin hai. vaise bhi sahaj ho jana hi moksh ko prapt kar lena hai. yadi aur gaharaee se dekhen to moksh ko 'prapt' karane jaisa bhi kuchh nahin hai. moksh to 'hota' aur 'ghatata' hai, bas ise samajhana zaroori hai. khair yahan to ham sakaratmak soch ki hi bat kar rahe hain.
pratiksha ke prati sahaj bhav ho jana hi hamen sakaratmak soch vala vyakti banata hai. asal men pratiksha ke prati nirlipt ho jana hi sakaratmak soch hai.

ek udaharan dekhen

ek bar ek snt aur unaka ek shishy ek nadi ke kinare-kinare ja rahe the. marg men unhonne dekha ki ek stri moolyavan vastr aur abhooshan pahane nadi ke kinare khadi hai. pas pahunchane par stri ne snt se kaha-
"kshama karen prabhu ! kripaya meri sahayata karen. main ek nrityangana hoon aur logon ka manornjan karana aur nagaravadhoo (veshya) ki tarah jivan jina hi meri niyati hai. aj saynkal, nadi ke par, yahan ke nagar shreshthi (nagar seth) ke yahan mere nrity ka ayojan hai. mera nav vala aj aya nahin hai. main chalakar bhi nadi par kar sakati hoon kyonki nadi men pani kam hai kintu mere vastr bhig jaenge aur mera nrity karyakram nahin ho paega. kripaya nadi par karane men meri sahayata karen. is din nagar vadhoo par daya karen prabhu!"
isase pahale ki snt kuchh kahate, unake shishy ne kaha-
"lagata hai tumhari buddhi bhrasht ho gee hai jo tum jaisi veshya sadhu-snton se yah apeksha rakhati hai ki tumako ank men bharakar (godi men uthakar) nadi par karavaee jae. hamare lie to tumako sparsh karana bhi pap hai. tumako aisa du:sahas nahin karana chahie." 
itana kahakar shishy age badh gaya kintu snt vahin khade rahe aur shishy ko adesh diya-
"ise avilamb apane ank men lekar nadi par karavao, yah meri agya hai shishy !" 
shishy ne agya ka palan kiya. kuchh der bad jab guru-shishy ek sthan par vishram karane ko ruke to shishy ne poochha-
"guru ji ! apane us stri ko nadi par karane ke lie kyon kaha."
"kaun si stri ?" guru ne ashchary prakat kiya
"vahi sundar stri, jo gori thi, jisaki badi-badi sundar ankhen thin, lal vastr pahane thi, main usi ki bat kar raha hoon. lekin kya apako yad nahin ki ek stri ko hamane nadi par karaee thi." shishy ne jigyasa prakat ki.
snt ne shant bhav se kaha-
"mujhe yah to yad hai ki mainne kisi ki sahayata ki lekin kisaki sahayata ki yah yad nahin kyonki yah bat men vahin bhool gaya tha jise tum ab tak dho rahe ho. mere lie yah keval ek kary tha jo mujhe samaj ki avashyakata ke lie karana tha, jisake lie mana karake main svayn ko manushyata ki shreni se gira nahin sakata. tumako to usaka chehara tak yad hai aur mujhe usaka stri hona bhi nahin. yadi tumane bhi yah socha hota ki tum guru ki agya ka palan matr kar rahe ho to tumhara dhyan bhi usake chehare aur vastron par nahin jata."
yah udaharan jivan ki poorn sakaratmak soch ko paribhashit karata hai. yadi ham sahaj hokar nirlipt bhav se apani bhoomika is duniya men jivan bhar nibha saken to hi yah nishchit hai ki hamari soch sakaratmak hai.
