tippani kathanak ki drishti se 'ramagya-prashn' 'ramacharitamanas' se kuchh vistaron men bhinn hai, jaise- isamen vivah ke poorv ka ram-sita ka pushm-vatika prasng nahin hai.

ramagya prashn gosvami tulasidas ki ek aisi rachana hai, jo shubhashubh phal vichar ke lie rachi gayi hai, kintu yah phal-vichar tulasidas ne ram-katha ki sahayata se prastut kiya hai. tulasidas ki yah rachana dohon men hain. sat-sat saptakon ke sat sargon ke lie pustak kholane par jo doha milata hai, usake poorvarddh men ram-katha ka koee prasng ata hai aur uttarardh men shubhashubh phal. katha ki drishti se yah 'ramacharitamanas' se kuchh vistaron men bhinn hai. 'ramagya prashn' par 'valmiki ramayan' tatha 'raghuvnsh' ka apekshakrit adhik prabhav gyat hota hai.

bhasha tatha rachana kal

tulasidas dvara rachit 'ramagya-prashn' ki rachana avadhi bhasha men hai. yah tulasidas ji ki prarambhik kritiyon men se ek hai. isaka rachana kal tatha tithi nimnalikhit dohe men ati hai-

"sagun saty sasinayan gun avadhi adhik nay ban.
hoee suphal subh jasu jas priti pratiti praman॥[1]

is prakar rachana ki tithi snvat 1621 hai.

snkshipt katha

kaha jata hai ki gosvami tulasidasaji ne apane parichit gngaram jyotishi ke liye 'ramagya-prashn' ki rachana ki thi. gngaram jyotishi kashi men prahladaghat par rahate the. ve pratidin sayn kal shrigosvami ji ke sath sndhya karane gnga ke tat par jaya karate the. ek din gosvami ji ne kaha- "ap padharen, main aj gnga kinare nahin ja sakoonga." gosvami ji ne poochha- "ap bahut udas dikhate hain, karan kya hai?" jyotishiji ne batalaya- "rajaghat par do gadhabar-vnshiy naresh hain, unake rajakumar akhet ke liye gaye the, kintu laute nahin. samachar mila hai ki akhet men jo log gaye the, unamen se ek ko bagh ne mar diya hai. raja ne mujhe aj bulaya tha. mujhase poochha gaya ki unaka putr sakushal hai ya nahin, kintu ye bat rajaon ki thahari, kaha gaya hai ki uttar thik nikala to bhari puraskar milega anyatha pranadand diya jayaga. main ek din ka samay mangakar ghar a gaya hoon, kintu mera jyotish-gyan itana nahin ki nishchayatmak uttar de sakoon. pata nahin kal kya hoga." du:khi brahman par tulasidas ko daya a gayi. unhonne kaha- "ap chinta n karen. shriraghunath ji sab mngal karenge."[2]

ashvasan milane par gngaram gosvami ji ke sath sndhya karane gaye. sndhya karake lautane par gosvami ji yah granth likhane baith gaye. us samay unake pas syahi nahin thi. kattha gholakar sarakande ki kalam se chh: ghnte men yah granth gosvami ji ne likha aur gngaram ko de diya. doosare din jyotishi gngaram raja ke samip gaye. granth se shakun dekhakar unhonne bata diya- "rajakumar sakushal hain." rajakumar sakushal the. unake kisi sathi ko bagh ne mara tha, kintu rajakumar ke lautane tak raja ne gngaram ko bandi grih men band rakha. jab rajakumar ghar laut aye, tab raja ne jyotishi gngaram ko karagar se chhoda, kshama mangi aur bahut adhik sampatti di. vah sab dhan gngaram ne gosvami tulasidas ke charanon men lakar rakh diya. gosvami ji ko dhan ka kya karana tha, kintu gngaram ka bahut adhik agrah dekhakar unake santosh ke liye das hajar rupaye usamen se lekar unase hanuman ke das mandir gosvami ji ne banavaye. un mandiron men dakshinabhimukh hanuman ji ki moortiyan hain.

yah granth sat sargon men samapt hua hai. pratyek sarg men sat-sat saptak hain aur pratyek saptak men sat-sat dohe hain. isamen 'ramacharitamanas' ki katha varnit hai; kintu kram bhinn hain. pratham sarg tatha chaturth sarg men 'balakand' ki katha hai. dvitiy sarg men 'ayodhyakand' tatha kuchh 'aranyakand' ki bhi. tritiy sarg men 'aranyakand' tatha 'kishkindhakand' ki katha hai. pancham sarg men 'sundarakand' tatha 'lnkakand' ki, shashth sarg men rajyabhishek ki katha tatha kuchh any kathaen hain. saptam sarg men sphut dohe hain aur shakun dekhane ki vidhi hai.

kala kaushal

isamen svabhavat: vah paripakvata nahin hai, jo 'manas' athava any paravarti rachanaon men hai. prabandh-nirvah men to truti prakat hai. tisare sarg tak katha ram janm se sundar-kand ke vanarasampati-milan tak akar laut padati hai aur age ke tin sargon men pun: ramajanm se prarambh hokar sita avani pravesh tak chalati hai. satavan sarg bahut sphut dhng par likha gaya hai, usake chhathe saptak men ram ke vanagaman ki katha ati hai, kintu shesh chh: saptakon men katha n dekar ram bhakti matr kak sahara liya gaya hai.

kathanak

kathanak ki drishti se 'ramagya-prashn' 'ramacharitamanas' se kuchh vistaron men bhinn hai. jaise isamen vivah ke poorv ka ram-sita ka pushm-vatika prasng nahin hai. dhanurbhng ke bad ram-vivah ka nimntran lekar janak ki or se dasharath ke pas shatanand jate hain. parashuram-ram milan svaynvar-bhoomi men n hokar barat ke lautate samay marg men hota hai. vanavas men ram ka pratham padav tamasa nadi ke tat par n hokar surasari tat par hota hai. chitrakoot men janak ka agaman nahin hota. sita ki khoj men jane par vibhishan se hanuman ki bhent nahin hoti.

setubndh ke avasar par shivaling ki sthapana ka ullekh nahin hai. bali ke putr angad ko ravan ke pas dootattv ke lie nahin bheja jata hai. sath hi, isamen sita-ram ke ayodhya lautane par sita ke avadh pravesh tak ke kuchh aise katha-prasng ate hain, jo 'manas' men nahin hain. jaise mrit brahman balak ko jivan-dan (6,516), bak-ulook tatha yati-shvan vivadon ka samadhan (6-6-1-3), sita-tyag aur lav-kush janm (6-6-4-6) tatha (7-4) aur sita ka avani-pravesh (6-7-6). in antaron par vichar karane se gyat hota hai ki kavi par 'ramagya prashn' ki rachana tak' 'prasann raghav natak', 'hanumannatak' tatha 'adhyatm ramayan' ka utana prabhav nahin tha, jitana bad ko 'manas' ki rachana ke samay hua. 'ramagya-prashn' par 'valmiki ramayan' tatha 'raghuvnsh' ka apekshakrit adhik prabhav gyat hota hai.

rachana ki tithi nishchit hone se yah gyat hota hai ki 'manas' ke poorv ram-katha ka kaun sa roop kavi ke manas men tha, isalie isaki sahayata se tulasidas ki aisi rachanaon ke kal-nirman men sahayak ho saki hai, jinamen rachana-tithi nahin ati hai.
