rakshabndhan ke avasar par bhaee ko rakhi bandhati bahan
vivaran shravan athava savan hindoo pnchang ke anusar varsh ka panchava mahina hai. ise varsha ritu ka mahina ya 'pavas ritu' bhi kaha jata hai, kyonki is samay bahut varsha hoti hai.

vishesh shravan mas ke pratyek somavar ko shiv ke vrat kie jate hain. kuchh bhaktajan to poore mas hi bhagavan shiv ki pooja-aradhana aur vrat karate hain. shravan mas ke somavaron men shiv ji ke vraton, pooja aur shiv ji ki arati ka vishesh mahattv hai.
any janakari shravan poornima ko dakshin bharat men 'nariyali poornima' v 'avani avittam', madhy bharat men 'kajari poonam', uttar bharat men 'rakshabandhan' aur gujarat men 'pavitropana' ke roop men manaya jata hai.

shravan athava savan hindoo pnchang ke anusar varsh ka panchava mahina, jo eesvi kalendar ke julaee ya agast mah men padata hai. ise varsha ritu ka mahina ya 'pavas ritu' bhi kaha jata hai, kyonki is samay bahut varsha hoti hai. is mah men anek mahattvapoorn tyohar manae jate hain, jisamen 'hariyali tij', 'rakshabandhan', 'nagapnchami' adi pramukh hain. 'shravan poornima' ko dakshin bharat men 'nariyali poornima' v 'avani avittam', madhy bharat men 'kajari poonam', uttar bharat men 'rakshabndhan' aur gujarat men 'pavitropana' ke roop men manaya jata hai. tyoharon ki vividhata hi to bharat ki vishishtata ki pahachan hai. 'shravan' yani savan mah men bhagavan shiv ki aradhana ka vishesh mahattv hai. is mah men padane vale somavar "savan ke somavar" kahe jate hain, jinamen striyan tatha visheshataur se kunvari yuvatiyan bhagavan shiv ke nimitt vrat adi rakhati hain.

shiv ka priy mahina

savan mah ke bare men ek pauranik katha hai ki- "jab sanat kumaron ne bhagavan shiv se unhen savan mahina priy hone ka karan poochha to bhagavan bholenath ne bataya ki jab devi sati ne apane pita daksh ke ghar men yogashakti se sharir tyag kiya tha, usase pahale devi sati ne mahadev ko har janm men pati ke roop men pane ka pran kiya tha. apane doosare janm men devi sati ne parvati ke nam se himachal aur rani maina ke ghar men putri ke roop men janm liya. parvati ne yuvavastha ke savan mahine men nirahar rah kar kathor vrat kiya aur shiv ko prasann kar unase vivah kiya, jisake bad hi mahadev ke lie yah vishesh ho gaya."[1]

  • pauranik kathaon men varnan ata hai ki isi savan mas men samudr mnthan kiya gaya tha. samudr mathane ke bad jo halahal vish nikala, use bhagavan shnkar ne knth men samahit kar srishti ki raksha ki; lekin vishapan se mahadev ka knth nilavarn ho gaya. isi se unaka nam 'nilaknth mahadev' pada. vish ke prabhav ko kam karane ke lie sabhi devi-devataon ne unhen jal arpit kiya. isalie shivaling par jal chadhane ka khas mahatv hai. yahi vajah hai ki shravan mas men bhole ko jal chadhane se vishesh phal ki prapti hoti hai. 'shivapuran' men ullekh hai ki bhagavan shiv svayn hi jal hain. isalie jal se unaki abhishek ke roop men aradhana ka uttamottam phal hai, jisamen koee snshay nahin hai.
  • shastron men varnit hai ki savan mahine men bhagavan vishnu yoganidra men chale jate hain. isalie ye samay bhakton, sadhu-snton sabhi ke lie amooly hota hai. yah char mahinon men hone vala ek vaidik ygy hai, jo ek prakar ka pauranik vrat hai, jise 'chaumasa' bhi kaha jata hai; tatpashchath srishti ke snchalan ka uttaradayitv bhagavan shiv grahan karate hain. isalie savan ke pradhan devata bhagavan shiv ban jate hain.[2]

shiv ki pooja

savan mas men bhagavan shnkar ki pooja unake parivar ke sadasyon sng karani chahie. is mah men bhagavan shiv ke 'rudrabhishek' ka vishesh mahattv hai. isalie is mas men pratyek din 'rudrabhishek' kiya ja sakata hai, jabaki any mah men shivavas ka muhoort dekhana padata hai. bhagavan shiv ke rudrabhishek men jal, doodh, dahi, shuddh ghi, shahad, shakkar ya chini, gngajal tatha ganne ke ras adi se snan karaya jata hai. abhishek karane ke bad belapatr, shamipatr, kusha tatha doob adi se shivaji ko prasann karate hain. ant men bhang, dhatoora tatha shriphal bholenath ko bhog ke roop men chadha़ya jata hai.

shivaling par belapatr tatha shamipatr chadha़ne ka varnan puranon men bhi kiya gaya hai. belapatr bholenath ko prasann karane ke shivaling par chadha़ya jata hai. kaha jata hai ki 'ak' ka ek phool shivaling par chadhane se sone ke dan ke barabar phal milata hai. hazar ak ke phoolon ki apeksha ek kaner ka phool, hazar kaner ke phoolon ko chadhane ki apeksha ek bilv patr se dan ka puny mil jata hai. hazar bilvapatron ke barabar ek dron ya gooma phool phaladayi hote hain. hazar gooma ke barabar ek chichida, hazar chichida ke barabar ek kush ka phool, hazar kush phoolon ke barabar ek shami ka patta, hazar shami ke patton ke barakar ek nilakamal, hazar nilakamal se jyada ek dhatoora aur hazar dhatooron se bhi jyada ek shami ka phool shubh aur puny dene vala hota hai.[1]

belapatr

bhagavan shiv ko prasann karane ka sabase saral tarika unhen 'belapatr' arpit karana hai. belapatr ke pichhe bhi ek pauranik katha ka mahattv hai. is katha ke anusar- "bhil nam ka ek dakoo tha. yah dakoo apane parivar ka palan-poshan karane ke lie logon ko lootata tha. ek bar savan mah men yah dakoo rahagiron ko lootane ke uddeshy se jngal men gaya aur ek vriksh par chadhakar baith gaya. ek din-rat poora bit jane par bhi use koee shikar nahin mila. jis ped par vah dakoo chhipa tha, vah bel ka ped tha. rat-din poora bitane par vah pareshan hokar bel ke patte todakar niche phenkane laga. usi ped ke niche ek shivaling sthapit tha. jo patte vah dakoo todakar niche phenkh raha tha, vah anajane men shivaling par hi gir rahe the. lagatar bel ke patte shivaling par girane se bhagavan shiv prasann hue aur achanak dakoo ke samane prakat ho ge aur dakoo ko varadan mangane ko kaha. us din se bilv-patr ka mahatta aur badh gaya.[1]

savan ke somavar vrat

shravan mas ke pratyek somavar ko shiv ke nimitt vrat kie jate hain. is mas men shiv ji ki pooja ka vishesh vidhan hain. kuchh bhakt to poore mas hi bhagavan shiv ki pooja-aradhana aur vrat karate hain. adhikansh vyakti keval shravan mas men padane vale somavar ka hi vrat karate hain. shravan mas ke somavaron men shiv ke vraton, pooja aur shiv ji ki arati ka vishesh mahattv hai. shiv ke ye vrat shubhadayi aur phaladayi hote hain. in vraton ko karane vale sabhi bhakton se bhagavan shiv bahut prasann hote hain. yah vrat bhagavan shiv ki prasannata ke lie kiye jate hain. vrat men bhagavan shiv ka poojan karake ek samay hi bhojan kiya jata hai. vrat men bhagavan shiv aur mata parvati ka dhyan kar 'shiv pnchakshar mantr' ka jap karate hue poojan karana chahie.

savan ke mahine men somavar mahatvapoorn hota hai. somavar ka ank 2[3] hota hai, jo chandrama ka pratinidhitv karata hai. chandrama man ka snketak hai aur vah bhagavan shiv ke mastak par virajaman hai. 'chndrama manaso jat:' yani 'chndrama man ka malik hai' aur usake niyntran aur niyaman men usaka[4] aham yogadan hai. yani bhagavan shnkar mastak par chndrama ko niyntrit kar ukt sadhak ya bhakt ke man ko ekagrachit kar use avidya roopi maya ke mohapash se mukt kar dete hain. bhagavan shnkar ki kripa se bhakt trigunatit[5] bhav ko prapt karata hai aur yahi usake janm-maran se mukti ka mukhy adhar siddh hota hai.[6]

kanvar le jate kanvariye

kanvar

aisi manyata hai ki bharat ki pavitr nadiyon ke jal se abhishek kie jane se shiv prasann hokar bhakton ki manokamana poori karate hain. 'kanvar' snskrit bhasha ke shabd 'kanvanrathi' se bana hai. yah ek prakar ki bahngi hai, jo bans ki phatti se banaee jati hai. 'kanvar' tab banati hai, jab phool-mala, ghnti aur ghungharoo se saje donon kinaron par vaidik anushthan ke sath gngajal ka bhar pitariyon men rakha jata hai. dhoop-dip ki khushaboo, mukh men 'bol bam' ka nara, man men 'baba ek sahara.' mana jata hai ki pahala 'kanvariya' ravan tha. shriram ne bhi bhagavan shiv ko kanvar chadhaee thi.[7]

hariyali tij

savan ka mahina prem aur utsah ka mahina mana jata hai. is mahine men nee-naveli dulhan apane mayake jakar jhoola jhoolati hain aur sakhiyon se apane piya aur unake prem ki baten karati hai. prem ke dhage ko majaboot karane ke lie is mahine men kee tyohar manaye jate hain. inhin men se ek tyohar hai- 'hariyali tij'. yah tyohar har sal shravan mah men shukl paksh ki tritiya ko manaya jata hai. is tyohar ke vishay men manyata hai ki mata parvati ne bhagavan shiv ko pane ke lie tapasya ki thi.
hariyali tij par jhoola jhoolati yuvatiyan
isase prasann hokar shiv ne 'hariyali tij' ke din hi parvati ko patni ke roop men svikar kiya tha. is tyohar ke vishay men yah manyata bhi hai ki isase suhag ki umr lnbi hoti hai.

kunvari kanyaon ko is vrat se manachaha jivan sathi milata hai. hariyali tij men hari choodiyan, hara vastr aur menhadi ka vishesh mahatv hai. menhadi suhag ka pratik chinh mana jata hai. isalie mahilaen suhag parv men menhadi zaroor lagati hain. isaki shital tasir prem aur umng ko sntulan pradan karane ka bhi kam karati hai. mana jata hai ki menhadi buri bhavana ko niyntrit karati hai. hariyali tij ka niyam hai ki krodh ko man men nahin ane den. menhadi ka aushadhiy gun isamen mahilaon ki madad karata hai. savan men padane vali phuharon se prakriti men hariyali chha jati hai. suhagan striyan prakriti ki isi hariyali ko apane oopar samet leti hain. is mauke par nee-naveli dulhan ko sas upahar bhejakar ashirvad deti hai. kul milakar is tyohar ka ashay yah hai ki savan ki phuharon ki tarah suhaganen prem ki phuharon se apane parivar ko khushahali pradan karengi aur vnsh ko age badhaengi.[8]

varsha ka samay

savan ke mahine men sabase adhik barish hoti hai, jo shiv ke garm sharir ko thndak pradan karati hai. bhagavan shnkar ne svayn sanatakumaron ko savan mahine ki mahima bataee hai ki mere tinon netron men soory dahine, banye chandrama aur agni madhy netr hai. jab soory kark rashi men gochar karata hai, tab savan mahine ki shuruat hoti hai. soory garm hai, jo ooshma deta hai, jabaki chndrama thnda hai, jo shitalata pradan karata hai. isalie soory ke kark rashi men ane se jhamajham baris hoti hai, jisase lok kalyan ke lie vish ko pine vale bholenath ko thndak v sukoon milata hai. isalie shiv ka savan se itana gahara lagav hai.

savan aur sadhana

savan aur sadhana ke bich chnchal aur ati chalayaman man ki ekagrata ek aham kadi hai, jisake bina param tatv ki prapti asnbhav hai. sadhak ki sadhana jab shuroo hoti hai, tab man ek vikaral badha banakar khada ho jata hai. use niyntrit karana sahaj nahin hota. lihaja man ko hi sadhane men sadhak ko lnba aur dhairy ka saphar tay karana hota hai. isalie kaha gaya hai ki man hi moksh aur bndhan ka karan hai. arthat man se hi mukti hai aur man hi bndhan ka karan hai. bhagavan shnkar ne mastak men hi chndrama ko dridh kar rakha hai, isilie sadhak ki sadhana bina kisi badha ke poorn hoti hai.[6]
