prabodhak kavy (angrezi: Didactic Poetry) koee nishchit kavy roop nahin, balki shaili, vishay-vastu aur uddeshy ki drishti se ek vishisht kavy-prakar hai. angrezi men ise 'daidektik poetri' kaha jata hai. aisa kavy, jisaka uddeshy sidhe-sidhe upadesh dena aur pathakon ka sudhar karana ho aur jisaka kalatmak paksh usake naitik ya upadeshatmak paksh se bilkul dab gaya ho, 'prabodhak kavy' kaha jata hai.[1]

vishayavastu

kuchh kavitaon men kavi spasht shabdon men kisi vishesh vishay ya vastu ke sambandh men paryapt soochanaen dete hain ya apane gyan ka pradarshan isalie karate hain ki pathak usase labh uthaen. aisa kavy bhi prabodhak kavy ki shreni men hi ata hai. is drishti se madhyakalin hindi sahity ka vah samast nitikavy, jisaka uddeshy niti ka upadesh dekar pathakon ko prabuddh ya sachetan karana tha, prabodhak kavy hi mana jaega. adhunik kal men dvivedi yug ke bahut-se kaviyon ne desh, samaj aur dharm-sudhar ke lie abhidhatmak shaili men jo kavitaen likhin, ve bhi prabodhak kavy ki koti men hi ati hain.

dvivedi yugin prabodhak kavy

rashtrakavi maithilisharan gupt dvara rachit 'bharat bharati' prabodhak kavy ka utkrisht udaharan hai. sthool adarshavad aur punarutthan ki pravritti ke karan tatha ary samaj ki atishay sudharavadi bhavana ke prabhav se dvivedi yugin kavita men khandan-mandan, bauddhik tark-vitark aur sidhe-sade upadesh dene ki paddhati vishesh roop se apanayi gayi aur kalatmak moolyon se adhik naitik moolyon par bal diya gaya. is karan us yug ki kavitaen adhikanshat: varnanatmak, sthool, upadeshatmak aur niras hain. ve pray: sabhi prabodhak kavy hain. angrezi men draiden aur pop ki bahut-si kavitaen tatha vardsavarth ki kuchh uttarakalin kavitaen prabodhak kavy ki koti men mani jati hain.[1]

vidvanh matabhed

prabodhan ya upadesh dena kavy ka prathamik uddeshy hai ya nahin, is sambandh men prachin kal se lekar ab tak sahity-shastriyon men bahut matabhed raha hai. vyapak drishti se dekhane par to kavy matr prabodhak hota hai, kyonki pratyek kavita se manushy ka kisi-n-kisi roop men labh hota hi hai. parntu kuchh vicharak kavy ka sarvapratham uddeshy prabodhan manate hain. pleto to spasht shabdon men kavy ko upadesh ya naitik shikshan ka sadhan manata tha aur vishuddh likhane valon ko vah apane adarsh ganarajy men sthan dene tak ko taiyar nahin tha. roman kavi aur sahityashastri haaures ne prabodhan ko kavy ka mahattvapoorn uddeshy manate hue bhi use ekamatr uddeshy nahin mana. usake anusar kavi apani kavita dvara ya to shiksha deta hai ya anand pradan karata hai ya donon kary karata hai. adhunik yug ke vicharak raskin, taaulsatay aur mahatma gandhi kavy ka uddeshy prabodhanatmak hi manate hain.

bharatiy alnkarik mammat ne kavy ka prayojan is prakar bataya hai-

"kavyn yash se arthakrite vyavaharavide shivetarakshataye., sady:parinirvritaye kantasammitatayopadeshayuje."

is prakar mammat bhi manate hain ki kavy se vyavaharik gyan ki shiksha milati hai, par unhonne yah bhi spasht kar diya hai ki yah upadesh usi prakar madhur aur akarshak roop men hona chahie, jaise patni apane pati ko madhuryaveshtit shaili men upadesh deti hai. at: mammat bhi haaures ki tarah upadesh aur anand donon ko hi kavy ka uddeshy manate hain, kintu upadesh itana sidha aur spasht nahin hona chahie ki shrota use prarambh men hi samajh jaen. haaures ke shabdon men kavyagat upadesh bachche ko di jane vali pyale ki kadavi dava hai aur usaka madhury pyale ke chhor par lipata shahad hai. jaise shahad ke sahare bachcha kadavi dava pi leta hai, usi tarah madhury aur anand ke madhyam se pathak ya shrota upadesh grahan karate hain. at: jis kavita men upadesh madhury ya kavy-saundary se poornaroopen aveshtit nahin hota, use prabodhak kavy samajhana chahiye.[2][1]
