dharmik krityon men shnkh ka upayog kiya jata hai. pooja-aradhana, anushthan-sadhana, arati, mahaygy evn tantrik kriyaon ke sath shnkh ka vaigyanik evn ayurvedik mahattv bhi hai. hindoo manyata ke anusar koee bhi pooja, havan, ygy adi shnkh ke upayog ke bina poorn nahin mana jata hai. kuchh guhy sadhanaon men isaki anivaryata hoti hai. shnkh sadhak ko usaki ichchhit manokamana poorn karane men sahayak hote hain tatha jivan ko sukhamay banate hain. shnkh ko vijay, samriddhi, sukh, yash, kirti tatha lakshmi ka pratik mana gaya hai. vaidik anushthanon evn tantrik kriyaon men bhi vibhinn prakar ke shnkhon ka prayog kiya jata hai.

shnkh har yug men logon ko akarshit karate rahe hai. dev sthan se lekar yuddh bhoomi tak, satayug se lekar aj tak shnkhon ka apana ek alag mahattv hai. pooja men isaki dhvani jahan shraddha va astha ka bhav jagati hai vahin yuddh bhoomi men josh paida karati hai. ran bhoomi men shnkhon ka pahali bar upayog dev-asur sngram men hua tha. dev danavon ke is yuddh men sabhi dev-danav apane apane shnkhon ke sath yuddh bhoomi men ae the. shnkhon ki dhvani ke sath yuddh shuroo hota aur usi ke sath khatm hota tha. tabhi se yah mana jata hai ki har devi-devata ka apana ek alag shnkh hota hai.

shnkh pooja ka mahattv -

sabhi vaidik karyon men shnkh ka vishesh sthan hai. shnkh ka jal sabhi ko pavitr karane vala mana gaya hai, isi vajah se arati ke bad shraddhaluon par shnkh se jal chhidaka jata hai. sath hi shnkh ko lakshmi ka bhi pratik mana jata hai, isaki pooja mahalakshmi ko prasann karane vali hoti hai. isi vajah se jo vyakti niyamit roop se shnkh ki pooja karata hai usake ghar men kabhi dhan abhav nahin rahata. shastron ke anusar shrikrishn ka svaroop kahe jane vale mah margashirsh men unhin ke pnchajany shnkh ki pooja ka vishesh mahattv hai. agahan mas men shnkh pooja se sabhi manovanchhit phal prapt ho jate hain. shnkh ko devata ka pratik manakar pooja jata hai evn isake madhyam se abhisht ki prapti ki jati hai. shnkh ki vishisht poojan paddhati evn sadhana ka vidhan bhi hai. mahalakshmi shnkh -

isaka akar shri yntr qi bhanti hota hai. ise prakratik shri yntr bhi mana jata hai. jis ghar men isaki pooja vidhi vidhan se hoti hai vahan svayn lakshmi ji ka vash hota hai. isaki avaz surili hoti hai. vidya qi devi sarasvati bhi shnkh dharan karati hai. ve svayn vina shnkh ki pooja karati hai. mana jata hai ki isaki pooja va isake jal ko pine se mnd buddhi vh‍yakti bhi gyani ho jata hai.[6]

dakshinavarti shnkh -

svayn bhagavan vishnu apane dahine hath men dakshinavarti shnkh dharan karate hai. puranon ke anusar samudr mnthan ke samay yah shnkh nikala tha. jise svayn bhagavan vishnu ji ne dharan kiya tha. yah aisa shnkh hai jise bajaya nahin jata, ise sarvadhik shubh mana jata hai.

mahabharat men yuddh ke arnbh, yuddh ke ek din samapt hone adi maukon par shnkh-dhvani karane ka zikr aya hai. mahabharat kal men sabhi yoddhaon ne yuddh ghosh ke lie alag-alag shnkh bajae the. mahabharat kal men shrikrishn dvara kee bar apana pnchajany shnkh bajaya tha. mahabharat yuddh ke samay bhagavan shrikrishn ne panchajany shnkh ko baja kar yuddh ka jayaghosh kiya tha. kahate hai ki yah shnkh jisake pas hota hai usaki yash gatha kabhi kam nahin hoti. mahabharat ke isi yuddh men arjun ne devadatt nam ka shnkh bajaya tha. vahin yudhishthir ke pas annt vijay nam ka shnkh tha, jise unhonne ran bhoomi men bajaya tha. is shnkh ki dhvani ki ye visheshata mani jati hai ki isase shatru sena ghabarati hai aur khud ki sena ka utsah badhata hai. bhishm ne podarik namak shnkh bajaya tha. is shnkh ki avaz se kauravon ki sena men halachal mach gee thi. gita ke pratham adhyay ke shlok 15-19 men isaka varnan milata hai --

arthath shrikrishn bhagavan ne panchajany namak, arjun ne devadatt aur bhimasen ne paundr shnkh bajaya. kunti-putr raja yudhishthir ne anntavijay shnkh, nakul ne sughosh evn sahadev ne manipushpak namak shnkh ka nad kiya. isake alava kashiraj, shikhndi, dhrishtadyumn, raja virat, satyaki, raja drupad, draupadi ke panchon putron aur abhimanyu adi sabhi ne alag-alag shnkhon ka nad kiya.[7]

shnkh ki utpatti

shnkh ki utpatti snbndhi puranon men ek katha varnit hai. sudama namak ek krishn bhakt parshad radha ke shap se shnkhachood danavaraj hokar daksh ke vnsh men janma. ant men vishnu ne is danav ka vadh kiya. shnkhachood ke vadh ke pashchath‌ sagar men bikhari usaki asthiyon se shnkh ka janm hua aur usaki atma radha ke shap se mukt hokar golok vrindavan men shrikrishn ke pas chali gee.[8] bharatiy dharmashastron men shnkh ka vishisht evn mahattvapoorn sthan hai. manyata hai ki isaka pradurbhav samudr mnthan se hua tha. samudr-mnthan se prapt 14 ratnon men se chhathavan ratn shnkh tha. any 13 ratnon ki bhanti shnkh men bhi vahi adbhut gun maujood the. vishnu puran ke anusar mata lakshmi samudraraj ki putri hain tatha shnkh unaka sahodar bhaee hai. at yah bhi manyata hai ki jahan shnkh hai, vahin lakshmi ka vas hota hai. inhin karanon se shnkh ki pooja bhakton ko sabhi sukh dene vali hai. shnkh ki utpatti ke snbndh men hamare dharm grnth kahate hain ki srishti atma se, atma akash se, akash vayu se, vayu ag se, ag jal se aur jal prithvi se utpann hua hai aur in sabhi tatv se milakar shnkh ki utpatti mani jati hai. bhagavat puran ke anusar, sndipan rishi ashram men shrikrishn ne shiksha poorn hone par unase guru dakshina lene ka agrah kiya. tab rishi ne unase kaha ki samudr men doobe mere putr ko le ao. krishn ne samudr tat par shnkhasur ko mar giraya. usaka khol shesh rah gaya. mana jata hai ki usi se shnkh ki utpatti huee. panchajany shnkh vahi tha. pauranik kathaon ke anusar, shnkhasur namak asur ko marane ke lie shri vishnu ne matsyavatar dharan kiya tha. shnkhasur ke mastak tatha kanapati ki haddi ka pratik hi shnkh hai. usase nikala svar sat ki vijay ka pratinidhitv karata hai.

shiv aur shnkh-

shiv puran ke anusar shnkhachood nam ka mahaparakrami daity hua. shnkhachood daityaram dnbh ka putr tha. daityaraj dnbh ko jab bahut samay tak koee sntan utpann nahin huee tab usane vishnu ke lie ghor tap kiya aur tap se prasann hokar vishnu prakat hue. vishnu ne var mangane ke lie kaha tab dnbh ne ek mahaparakrami tinon loko ke lie ajey putr ka var manga aur vishnu tathastu bolakar antadhryan ho ge. tab dnbh ke yahan shnkhachood ka janm hua aur usane pushkar men brahma ki ghor tapasya kar unhen prasann kar liya. brahma ne var mangane ke lie kaha aur shnkhachood ne var manga ki vo devataon ke lie ajey ho jae. brahma ne tathastu bola aur use shrikrishnakavach diya phir ve antadhryan ho ge. jate-jate brahma ne shnkhachood ko dharmadhvaj ki kanya tulasi se vivah karane ki agya di. brahma ki agya pakar tulasi aur shnkhachood ka vivah ho gaya. brahma aur vishnu ke var ke mad men choor daityaraj shnkhachood ne tinon lokon par svamitv sthapit kar liya. devataon ne trast hokar vishnu se madad mangi parntu unhonne khud dnbh ko aise putr ka varadan diya tha at: unhonne shiv se prarthana ki. tab shiv ne devataon ke du:kh door karane ka nishchay kiya aur ve chal die. parntu shrikrishn kavach aur tulasi ke pativrat dharm ki vajah se shivaji bhi usaka vadh karane men saphal nahin ho pa rahe the, tab vishnu se brahman roop banakar daityaraj se usaka shrikrishn kavach dan men le liya aur shnkhachood ka roop dharan kar tulasi ke shil ka apaharan kar liya. ab shiv ne shnkhachood ko apane trishool se bhasm kar diya aur usaki haddiyon se shnkh ka janm hua. choonki shnkhachood vishnu bhakt tha at: lakshmi-vishnu ko shnkh ka jal ati priy hai aur sabhi devataon ko shnkh se jal chadhane ka vidhan hai. parntu shiv ne choonki usaka vadh kiya tha at: shnkh ka jal shiv ko nishedh bataya gaya hai. isi vajah se shivaji ko shnkh se jal nahin chadhaya jata hai.[9]

prachin kal se hi pratyek ghar men pooja-vedi par shnkh ki sthapana ki jati hai. nirdosh evn pavitr shnkh ko dipavali, holi, mahashivaratri, navaratr, ravi-pushy, guru-pushy nakshatr adi shubh muhoort men vishisht karmakand ke sath sthapit kiya jata hai. rudr, ganesh, bhagavati, vishnu bhagavan adi ke abhishek ke saman shnkh ka bhi gngajal, doodh, ghi, shahad, gud, pnchadravy adi se abhishek kiya jata hai. isaka dhoop, dip, naivedy se nity poojan karana chahie aur lal vastr ke asan men sthapit karana chahie. shnkharaj sabase pahale vastu-dosh door karate hain. manyata hai ki shnkh men kapila (lal) gay ka doodh bharakar bhavan men chhidakav karane se vastudosh door hote hain. parivar ke sadasyon dvara achaman karane se asadhy rog evn duahkh-durbhagy door hote hain. vishnu shnkh ko dukan, aauphis, phaiktari adi men sthapit karane par vahan ke vastu-dosh door hote hain tatha vyavasay adi men labh hota hai. shnkh ki sthapana se ghar men lakshmi ka vas hota hai. svayn mata lakshmi kahati hain ki shnkh unaka sahodar bhrata hai. shnkh, jahan par hoga, vahan ve bhi hongi. dev pratima ke charanon men shnkh rakha jata hai. poojasthali par dakshinavritti shnkh ki sthapana karane evn pooja-aradhana karane se mata lakshmi ka chirasthayi vas hota hai. is shnkh ki sthapana ke lie nar-mada shnkh ka joda hona chahie. ganesh shnkh men jal bharakar pratidin garbhavati nari ko sevan karane se sntan goongepan, baharepan evn piliya adi rogon se mukt hoti hai. annapoorna shnkh ki vyapari v samany varg dvara annabhndar men sthapana karane se ann, dhan, lakshmi, vaibhav ki upalabdhi hoti hai. manipushpak evn panchajany shnkh ki sthapana se bhi vastu-doshon ka nirakaran hota hai. shnkh ka tantrik-sadhana men bhi upayog kiya jata hai. isake lie laghu shnkhamala ka prayog karane se shighr siddhi prapt hoti hai.[7]

  • shnkh ka mahattv dharmik drishti se hi nahin, vaigyanik roop se bhi hai. vaigyanikon ka manana hai ki shnkh-dhvani ke prabhav men soory ki kiranen badhak hoti hain. atah pratah v saynkal men jab soory ki kiranen nistej hoti hain, tabhi shnkh-dhvani karane ka vidhan hai. isase asapas ka vatavaran tata paryavaran shuddh rahata hai. ayurved ke anusar shnkhodak bhasm se pet ki bimariyan, piliya, kas pliha yakrit, pathari adi rog thik hote hain.
  • rishi shrring ki manyata hai ki chhote-chhote bachchon ke sharir par chhote-chhote shnkh bandhane tatha shnkh men jal bharakar abhimntrit karake pilane se vani-dosh nahin rahata hai. bachcha svasth rahata hai. puranon men ullekh milata hai ki mook evn shvas rogi hamesha shnkh bajayen to bolane ki shakti pa sakate hain.

  • yajurved ke anusar yuddh men shatruon ka hriday dahalane ke lie shnkh phoonkane vala vyakti apikshit hai. goraksha snhita, vishvamitr snhita, pulasty snhita adi grnthon men dakshinavarti shnkh ko ayurvaddhak aur samriddhi dayak kaha gaya hai.[10]
