vivaran 'chaitr' ya 'vasntik navaratr' aur 'ashvin' ya 'sharadiy navaratr' ke atirikt bhi do aur navaratr hote hain, jinhen 'gupt navaratr' kaha jata hai.
mahattv gupt navaratron ko saphalatapoorvak sampann karane se kee badhaen samapt ho jati hain, jaise- vivah, naukari, rog, dhan-sampada, grahon ka viparit prabhav adi.
any janakari "shivasnhita" ke anusar gupt navaratr bhagavan shnkar aur adishakti man parvati ki upasana ke lie bhi shreshth hain.

gupt navaratr hindoo dharm men usi prakar many hain, jis prakar 'sharadiy' aur 'chaitr navaratr'. ashadh aur magh mah ke navaratron ko "gupt navaratr" kah kar pukara jata hai. bahut kam logon ko hi isake gyan ya chhipe hue hone ke karan ise 'gupt navaratr' kaha jata hai. gupt navaratr manane aur inaki sadhana ka vidhan 'devi bhagavat' v any dharmik grnthon men milata hai. shrringi rishi ne gupt navaratron ke mahattv ko batalate hue kaha hai ki- "jis prakar vasntik navaratr men bhagavan vishnu ki pooja aur sharadiy navaratr men devi shakti ki nau deviyon ki pooja ki pradhanata rahati hai, usi prakar gupt navaratr das mahavidyaon ke hote hain. yadi koee in mahavidyaon ke roop men shakti ki upasana karen, to jivan dhan-dhany, rajy satta aur aishvary se bhar jata hai.

tithi

samanyat: log varsh men padane vale keval do navaratron ke bare men hi janate hain- 'chaitr' ya 'vasntik navaratr' v 'ashvin' ya 'sharadiy navaratr', jabaki isake atirikt do aur navaratr bhi hote hain, jinamen vishesh kamanaon ki siddhi ki jati hai. kam logon ko isaka gyan hone ke karan ya isake chhipe hue hone ke karan hi isako "gupt navaratr" kahate hain. varsh men do bar gupt navaratr ate hain- magh mas ke shukl paksh v ashadh mas ke shukl paksh men. is prakar kul mila kar varsh men char navaratr hote hain. yah charon hi navaratr ritu parivartan ke samay manaye jate hain. is vishesh avasar par apani vibhinn manokamanaon ki poorti ke lie pooja-path adi kiye jate hain.

mahattv

gupt navaratron ka bada hi mahattv bataya gaya hai. manav ke samast rog-dosh v kashton ke nivaran ke lie gupt navaratr se badhakar koee sadhana kal nahin hain. shri, varchasv, ayu, arogy aur dhan prapti ke sath hi shatru snhar ke lie gupt navaratr men anek prakar ke anushthan v vrat-upavas ke vidhan shastron men milate hain. in anushthanon ke prabhav se manav ko sahaj hi sukh v akshay ऎshvary ki prapti hoti hai. "durgavarivasya" namak grnth men spasht likha hai ki sal men do bar ane vale gupt navaratron men bhi magh men padane vale gupt navaratr manav ko n keval adhyatmik bal hi pradan karate hain, balki in dinon men snyam-niyam v shraddha ke sath mata durga ki upasana karane vale vyakti ko anek sukh v samrajy bhi prapt hote hain. ve kumari kanyaen jinake vivah men badha a rahi ho, unake lie gupt navaratr bahut mahattvapoorn hain. kumari kanyaon ko achchhe var ki prapti ke lie in nau dinon men mata katyayani ki pooja-upasana karani chahie. "durgastavanamh" jaise pramanik prachin grnthon men likha hai ki is mntr ka 108 bar jap karane se kumari kanya ka vivah shighr hi yogy var se snpann ho jata hai-

katyayani mahamaye mahayoginyadhishvari.

devi ki mahima

shastr kahate hain ki adishakti ka avataran srishti ke arnbh men hua tha. kabhi sagar ki putri sindhuja-lakshmi to kabhi parvataraj himalay ki kanya aparna-parvati. tej, dyuti, dipti, jyoti, kanti, prabha aur chetana aur jivan shakti snsar men jahan kahin bhi dikhaee deti hai, vahan devi ka hi darshan hota hai. rishiyon ki vishv-drishti to sarvatr vishvaroopa devi ko hi dekhati hai, isalie mata durga hi mahakali, mahalakshmi aur mahasarasvati ke roop men prakat hoti hai. 'devibhagavat' men likha hai ki- "devi hi brahma, vishnu tatha mahesh ka roop dhar snsar ka palan aur snhar karati hain. jaganmata durga sukriti manushyon ke ghar snpatti, papiyon ke ghar men alakshmi, vidvanon-vaishnavon ke hriday men buddhi v vidya, sajjanon men shraddha v bhakti tatha kulin mahilaon men lajja evn maryada ke roop men nivas karati hai. 'markandeyapuran' kahata hai ki- "he devi! tum sare ved-shastron ka sar ho. bhagavan vishnu ke hriday men nivas karane vali man lakshmi-shashishekhar bhagavan shnkar ki mahima badhane vali man tum hi ho."[1]

sarasvati pooja mahotsav

maghi navaratr men pnchami tithi sarvapramukh mani jati hai. ise 'shripnchami', 'vasnt pnchami' aur 'sarasvati mahotsav' ke nam se kaha jata hai. prachin kal se aj tak is din mata sarasvati ka poojan-archan kiya jata hai. yah trishakti men ek mata sharada ke aradhana ke lie vishisht divas ke roop men shastron men varnit hai. kee pramanik vidvanon ka yah bhi manana hai ki jo chhatr padhane men kamazor hon ya jinaki padhane men ruchi nahin ho, aise vidyarthiyon ko anivary roop se man sarasvati ka poojan karana chahie. devavani snskrit bhasha men nibaddh shastriy grnthon ka dan snkalp poorvak vidvanh brahmanon ko dena chahie.

mahanavami ko poornahuti

gupt navaratr men snpoorn phal ki prapti ke lie ashtami aur navami tithi ko avashyak roop se devi ke poojan ka vidhan shastron men varnit hai. mata ke snmukh "jot darshan" evn kanya bhojan karavana chahie.[1]

stri roop men devi pooja

'koormapuran' men prithvi par devi ke binb ke roop men stri ka poora jivan navadurga ki moorti ke roop se bataya gaya hai. janm grahan karati huee kanya "shailaputri", kaumary avastha tak "brahmacharini" v vivah se poorv tak chndrama ke saman nirmal hone se "chndraghnta" kahalati hai. ne jiv ko janm dene ke lie garbh dharan karane se "kooshmanda" v sntan ko janm dene ke bad vahi stri "skandamata" hoti hai. snyam v sadhana ko dharan karane vali stri "katyayani" v pativrata hone ke karan pati ki akal mrityu ko bhi jit lene se "kalaratri" kahalati hai. snsar ka upakar karane se "mahagauri" v dharati ko chhodakar svarg prayan karane se pahale snsar ko siddhi ka ashirvad dene vali "siddhidatri" mani jati hain.

ghat sthapana

shastriy manyata ke anusar svachchh divar par sindoor se devi ki mukh-akriti bana li jati hai. sarvashuddha mata durga ki jo tasvir mil jae, vahi chauki par sthapit kar di jati hai, parntu devi ki asali pratima "ghat" hai. ghat par ghi-sindoor se kanya chihn aur svastik banakar usamen devi ka ahvan kiya jata hai. devi ke dayin or jau v samane havanakund rakha jata hai. nau dinon tak nity devi ka ahvan phir snan, vastr v gndh adi se shodashopachar poojan karana chahie. naivedy men batashe aur nariyal tatha khir ka bhog hona chahie. poojan aur havan ke bad "durga saptashati" ka path karana shreshth hai. sath hi dharm, arth, kam aur moksh prapt karane ke lie navadurga ke pratyek roop ki pratidin pooja-stuti karani chahie.[1]

  • gujarat men sabhi hindoo tyohar vikrami chandr varsh ki tithiyon ke anusar bharat ke any pradeshon ki tarah manae jate hain aur is chandr varsh ka arnbh chaitr mas ke shukl paksh ki pratipada se mana jata hai. kintu lohana vnsh ke gujaratiyon ke kuchi, halari tatha thakkar gotr ke log apana navavarsh 'ashadh  bij' (ashadh shukl dvitiya) ko manate hain. 'lohana samaj' apana mool sthan lahaur (pakistan) ke samipasth lohana namak gram batate hain. samooche bharat men jahan navavarsh ka arnbh chaitr mah ki shukl paksh ki pratipada se mana jata hai aur usi din se vasntik navaratr arnbh ho jate hain; phir bhi sindhi samaj navavarsh ke arnbh ka bodhak 'cheti chand mahotsav' chaitr shukla dvitiya ko manata hai. vichitr snyog ki bat hai ki lohana samaj ka navavarsh bhi dvitiya tithi ko manaya jata hai, bhale hi mahina chaitr ke sthan par ashadh ho. vastut: yah 'ashadhi gupt navaratr' ka doosara din hota hai. snyog ki bat hai ki udisa prant men sthit jagannathapuri ki rathayatra ka utsav bhi 'ashadhi gupt navaratr' ki dvitiya tithi ko manaya jata hai. is mndir men bhagavan shrikrishn apani patni ya rasalila vali saheli radha ke sath nahin, balki apane bade bhaee balaram tatha bahan subhadra ke sath moortiman rahate hain. in tinon ki chal moortiyon ko ashadh dvitiya vali shobha-yatra men alag-alag rathon par sajaya jata hai. in rathon ka nirman kary prativarsh 'akshay tritiya' ke shubh din se hi arnbh hota hai, jabaki us din vrindavan, mathura, uttar pradesh vale 'banke bihari mndir' men sthapit bhagavan krishn ki moorti ko chndan ka lep karake sajaya jata hai. un donon bhaiyon samet subhadra ki pooja vahin par hoti hai.[2]
  • maharashtr ke 'varakari snpraday' ke shraddhalugan bhagavan shrikrishn ko 'vitthalanath', 'vithoba' athava 'prabhu pundarik' pukarate hain. maharashtr ke pune ke pndharapur namak sthan par vitthalanath ka prachinatam mndir hai, jisaki yatra ashadh mah ki ekadashi arthath 'devashayani ekadashi' se arnbh ho jati hai. janashruti hai ki vitthalanath ji apani patarani rukmini ji ko batae bina gupt roop men pndharapur chale ae the. ve unhen dhoondhati huee pndharapur pahunch gee thin. at: vitthalanath ji ki moorti ke sath mndir men rukmini ji bhi vidyaman rahati hain.
  • bngal men ashadh ki shukl paksh dvitiya ko 'manorath dvitiya vrat' kaha jata hai. us din striyan durga se apani manokamanaen poorti hetu vrat rakhati hain. ashadh shukl shashthi ko bngal men 'kardam shashthi', 'kusunbha shashthi' tatha 'skand shashthi' bhi kaha jata hai. us din bhagavan shiv aur mata parvati ke chhote putr sknd aur unaki patni shashthi devi ki pooja ki jati hai. ashadh mah ki shukl saptami ko bharat ke poorvi bhag men soory ki pooja ka utsav manaya jata hai. ashadh shukl ashtami ko tripura men kharasi-pooja utsav manaya jata hai. tatsnbndhi prasiddh mela khaverapur namak kasbe men manaya jata hai, jisamen adhikatar snnyasi hi bhag lete hain. sannyas dharini striyan tnbakoo se bhari huee chilam men kash lagakar, dhuan chhodakar logon ko ashcharyachakit kar deti hain.[2]
  • tamilanadu men ashadh mas ki ashtami ko manae jane vale mahotsav ko 'adipuram' kaha jata hai. ashadh mas ko tamil bhasha men 'adi' aur 'parv' ko 'puram' kaha jata hai. us din log apane parivar ki sukh-shanti hetu shakti-devi ki pooja karate hain.

ashadh shukl navami gupt navaratr ka antim din hota hai. us din bharat ke kashmir ke bhavani mndir men vishal mela lagata hai. usi din 'hari jaynti' ke karan vaishnav bhakt vrat bhi rakhate hain aur vaishnav mndiron men manokamanaon ki poorti aur darshanarth jate hain. usi din 'bhadalya navamin' par vratadharini striyan bhi ghar men athava devi-mndir men pooja karati hain.[2]
