namakaran yah ekadashi moh ka kshay karane vali hai. is karan isaka nam 'mokshada' rakha gaya hai.
any janakari bhagavan damodar (vishnu) ki dhoop, dip, naivedy se pooja karani chahie. brahman ko bhojan karakar danadi dene se vishesh phal prapt hota hai.

mokshada ekadashi puranon ke anusar margashirsh shukl paksh ki ekadashi ko kaha jata hai. dvapar yug men bhagavan shrikrishn ne isi din arjun ko bhagavadgita ka upadesh diya tha. isilie yah tithi 'gita jaynti' ke nam se bhi prasiddh hai.

namakaran

yah ekadashi moh ka kshay karane vali hai. is karan isaka nam 'mokshada' rakha gaya hai. isilie bhagavan shrikrishn margashirsh men ane vali is mokshada ekadashi ke karan hi kahate hain- "main mahinon men margashirsh ka mahina hoon." isake pichhe mool bhav yah hai ki "mokshada ekadashi ke din manavata ko nee disha dene vali 'gita' ka upadesh hua tha.

vrat

is din gita, shrikrishn, vyas ji adi ka vidhipoorvak poojan karake gita jayanti ka utsav manaya jata hai. is ekadashi ke bare men kaha gaya hai ki shuddha, viddha aur niyam adi ka nirnay yathapoorv karane ke anantar margashirsh shukl dashami ko madhyahn men jau aur moong ki roti, dal ka ek bar bhojan karake dvadashi ko pratah snanadi karake upavas rakhana chahie. bhagavan ka poojan karen aur ratri men jagaran karake dvadashi ko ek bar bhojan karake paran karen.[1]

'gita' ka pathan-pathan

'bhagavadgita' ke pathan-pathan shravan evn manan-chintan se jivan men shreshthata ke bhav ate hain. 'gita' keval lal kapade men bandhakar ghar men rakhane ke lie nahin balki use padhakar sndeshon ko atmasat karane ke lie hai. 'gita' ka chintan agyanata ke acharan ko hatakar atmgyan ki or pravritt karata hai. 'gita' bhagavan ki shvas aur bhakton ka vishvas hai. is din gita, shrikrishn, vyas ji adi ka vidhipoorvak poojan karake gita jayanti ka utsav manaya jata hai. bhagavan damodar (vishnu) ki dhoop, dip, naivedy se pooja karani chahie. brahman ko bhojan karakar danadi dene se vishesh phal prapt hota hai. is din vrat karane se durlabh moksh pad ki prapti hoti hai.

katha

ek samay gokul nagar men vaikhanas namak raja rajy karata tha. ek din raja ne svapn men ek ashchary ki bat dekhi. usaka pita narak men pada hai aur vah apane putr se uddhar ki yachana kar raha hai. raja apane pita ki yah dasha dekh vyakul ho utha. usi samay usaki nidra bhng ho gee. pratah raja ne brahmanon ko bulakar apane svapn ka bhed poochha. tab brahmanon ne kaha- "he rajan! isake lie parvat namak muni ke ashram men jakar isaka uddhar poochho." tab raja ne vaisa hi kiya. jab parvat muni ne raja ki bat suni, ve chintit ho ge. unhonne apani yog drishti se raja ke pita ko dekha aur bole- "rajan! poorvajanm ke papon se apake pitaji ko narkavas prapt hua hai. unhonne sauteli stri ke vash men hokar doosari stri ko ratidan ka nishedh kar diya tha. isi dosh se unhen narak ki prapti huee hai. ab tum mokshada ekadashi ko vrat kar usaka phal apane pita ko arpan karo to unaki mukti ho sakati hai." raja ne muni ke kathanusar hi mokshada ekadashi ka yatha niyam vrat kiya aur brahmanon ko bhojan kara dakshina, vastradi arpan kar ashirvad prapt kiya. is uttam karm se usane pratyaksh dekha ki akash men mngal dhvani ho rahi hai aur usaka pita viman men baith svarg ko ja raha hai. usake pita ne kaha- "he putr! main thode samay yah svarg ka sukh bhog moksh ko prapt kar jaoonga. tere vrat ke prabhav se mera narkavas chhoot gaya, tera kalyan ho."

gyan ka bhndar 'gita'

'gita' gyan ka adbhut bhndar hai. har vyakti kam men turnt natija chahata hai, lekin bhagavan ne kaha hai ki "dhairy ke bina agyan, du:kh, moh, krodh, kam aur lobh se nivritti nahin milegi." mngalamay jivan ka grnth hai- 'gita'. gita keval grnth nahin, kaliyug ke papon ka kshay karane ka adbhut aur anupam madhyam hai, jisake jivan men gita ka gyan nahin, vah pashu se bhi badatar hota hai. bhakti balyakal se shuroo hona chahie. antim samay men to bhagavan ka nam lena bhi kathin ho jata hai.

durlabh manushy jivan keval bhog vilas ke lie nahin mila hai, isaka kuchh ansh bhakti aur seva men bhi lagana chahie. gita bhakton ke prati bhagavan dvara prem men gaya hua git hai. adhyatm aur dharm ki shuruat saty, daya aur prem ke sath hi snbhav hai. ye tinon gun hone par hi dharm phalega aur phoolega. 'gita' mngalamay jivan ka grnth hai. gita marana sikhati hai, jivan ko to dhany banati hi hai. gita keval dharm grnth hi nahin, yah ek anupam jivan grnth hai. jivan utthan ke lie isaka svadhyay har vyakti ko karana chahie. gita ek divy grnth hai. yah hamen palayan se purusharth ki or agrasar hone ki prerana deti hai.[1]
