shuroo ke tin din mahilaen bina kuchh paka hua aur bina namak ka khana khati hai. is samay mahilaen chappal bhi nahin pahanati hain. pahale din haldi aur chndan ka lep lagakar snan kiya jata hai. baki ke do din snan nahin kiya jata hai. chauthe din haldi aur chndan ko pisakar pis bana liya jata hai. pisane vale patthar ko bhoodevi kaha jata hai. sil batte ko doodh v pani se nilahaya jata hai. sath hi haldi, chndan, sindoor v phool se sajaya jata hai. pooja ke bad kapade ke dan ka vishesh mahatv mana jata hai. sabhi mausami phalon ka bhet bhoodevi ko chadhaya jata hai.
