dhanu snkranti (Dhanu Sankranti) ko hemnt ritu shuroo hone par manaya jata hai. dakshini bhootan aur nepal men is din jngali aloo jise 'tarul' ke nam se jana jata hai, use khane ka rivaj hai. jis din se ritu ki shuruat hoti hai usaki pahali tarikh ko log is snkranti ko bade hi dhoom-dham se manate hain. dhanu snkranti ke din soory dev ki pooja karane ka bahut mahatv hai. is din soory dev ki pooja karana bahut shubh mana jata hai. is din pavitr nadiyon ke jal men snan karane se manushyon ke dvara kiye gaye bure karm ya papon se mukti milati hai. sath hi is din pooja karane se bhavishy soory ki bhanti chamak uthata hai.

bharatiy pnchang ke anusar jab soory dhanu rashi men snkranti karate hain to yah samay shubh nahin mana jata hai. kaha jata hai ki jab tak soory makar rashi men snkramit nahin hote tab tak kisi bhi prakar ke shubh kary nahin kie jate hain. pnchang ke anusar yah samay sare paush mas ka hota hai, jise kharamas kaha jata hai. is mah ki snkranti ke din gnga-yamuna snan ka mahatv mana jata hai. paush snkranti ke din shraddhalu nadi kinare jakar soory ko arghy dete hain. mana jata hai ki is vidhi ko karane se svayn ke man ki shuddhi hoti hai. buddhi aur vivek ki prapti ke lie bhi is din soory poojan kiya jata hai. soory kisi vishesh rashi men pravesh karata hai, isi karan se ise snkranti ke nam se jana jata hai. is din bhagavan ko mithe pakavanon ka bhog lagaya jata hai.

pooja-path

dhanu snkranti ke din bhagavan satyanarayan ki katha ka path kiya jata hai. bhagavan vishnu ki pooja men kele ke patte, phal, supari, pnchamrit, tulasi, meva adi ka bhog taiyar kiya jata hai. satyanarayan ki katha ke bad devi lakshmi, mahadev aur brahma ji ki arati ki jati hai aur charanamrit ka prasad diya jata hai. is din ke lie manyata hai ki is din ko pavitr mana jata hai, is din jo log vidhi ke sath poojan karate hain unake sabhi snkat door hote hain aur manokamanaon ki poorti hoti hai.

kharamas

snskrit men gadhe ko khar kaha jata hai. pauranik grnthon men kharamas ki katha ke anusar bhagavan soory dev sat ghodon ke rath par savar hokar lagatar brahmand ki parikrama karate rahate hain. unhen kahin par bhi rookane ki ijajat nahin hai. manyata ke anusar unake rookate hi jan-jivan bhi thahar jaega. lekin jo ghode unake rath men jude hote hain ve lagatar chalane aur vishram n milane ke karan bhookh-pyas se bahut thak jate hain. unaki is dayaniy dasha ko dekhakar soory dev ka man bhi dravit ho gaya. ve unhen ek talab ke kinare le ge, lekin unhen tabhi yah dhyan aya ki agar rath rooka to anarth ho jaega. lekin ghodon ka saubhagy kahie ki talab ke kinare do khar maujood the. bhagavan soory dev ghodon ko pani pine aur vishram dene ke lie chhode dete hain aur khar arthat gadhon ko apane rath men jot dete hain. ghoda-ghoda hota hai aur gadha-gadha, rath ki gati dhimi ho jati hai. phir bhi jaise-taise ek mas ka chakr poora hota hai. tab tak ghodon ko vishram bhi mil chuka hota hai, is tarah yah kram chalata rahata hai aur har saur varsh men ek saur khar mas kahalata hai.
