devi ki mahima

'devibhagavat' mean likha hai ki- "devi hi brahma, vishnu tatha mahesh ka roop dhar sansar ka palan aur sanhar karati haian. jaganmata durga sukriti manushyoan ke ghar sanpatti, papiyoan ke ghar mean alakshmi, vidvanoan-vaishnavoan ke hriday mean buddhi v vidya, sajjanoan mean shraddha v bhakti tatha kulin mahilaoan mean lajja evan maryada ke roop mean nivas karati hai. 'markandeyapuran' kahata hai ki- "he devi! tum sare ved-shastroan ka sar ho. bhagavan vishnu ke hriday mean nivas karane vali maan lakshmi-shashishekhar bhagavan shankar ki mahima badhane vali maan tum hi ho."[1]

sarasvati pooja mahotsav

maghi navaratr mean panchami tithi sarvapramukh mani jati hai. ise 'shripanchami', 'vasant panchami' aur 'sarasvati mahotsav' ke nam se kaha jata hai. prachin kal se aj tak is din mata sarasvati ka poojan-archan kiya jata hai. yah trishakti mean ek mata sharada ke aradhana ke lie vishisht divas ke roop mean shastroan mean varnit hai. kee pramanik vidvanoan ka yah bhi manana hai ki jo chhatr padhane mean kamazor hoan ya jinaki padhane mean ruchi nahian ho, aise vidyarthiyoan ko anivary roop se maan sarasvati ka poojan karana chahie. devavani sanskrit bhasha mean nibaddh shastriy granthoan ka dan sankalp poorvak vidvanh brahmanoan ko dena chahie.

shastriy manyata ke anusar svachchh divar par siandoor se devi ki mukh-akriti bana li jati hai. sarvashuddha mata durga ki jo tasvir mil jae, vahi chauki par sthapit kar di jati hai, parantu devi ki asali pratima "ghat" hai. ghat par ghi-siandoor se kanya chihn aur svastik banakar usamean devi ka ahvan kiya jata hai. devi ke dayian or jau v samane havanakuand rakha jata hai. nau dinoan tak nity devi ka ahvan phir snan, vastr v gandh adi se shodashopachar poojan karana chahie. naivedy mean batashe aur nariyal tatha khir ka bhog hona chahie. poojan aur havan ke bad "durga saptashati" ka path karana shreshth hai. sath hi dharm, arth, kam aur moksh prapt karane ke lie navadurga ke pratyek roop ki pratidin pooja-stuti karani chahie.[1]

  • tamilanadu mean ashadh mas ki ashtami ko manae jane vale mahotsav ko 'adipuram' kaha jata hai. ashadh mas ko tamil bhasha mean 'adi' aur 'parv' ko 'puram' kaha jata hai. us din log apane parivar ki sukh-shaanti hetu shakti-devi ki pooja karate haian.
