krishn yajurved shakha ke is upanishad men 'pranavopasana' ke sath yog ke chhah angon- pratyahar, dharana, dhyan, pranayam, tark aur samadhi adi- ka varnan kiya gaya hai. yog-sadhana ke antargat 'pranayam' vidhi, Omkar ki matraon ka dhyan, pnch pranon ka svaroop, yog karane vale sadhak ki pravrittiyan tatha nirvan-prapti se brahmalok tak jane vale marg ka digdarshan karaya gaya hai. is upanishad men untalis mantr hain.

pranopasana

  • 'pranav,' arthath 'Omkar' ka chintan samast sukhon ko dene vala hai.
  • Omkar ke rath par aroodh hokar hi 'brahmalok' pahuncha ja sakata hai-Omkar-roopi rath par aroodh hokar aur bhagavan vishnu ko sarathi banakar brahmalok ka chintan karate hue gyani purush devadhidev bhagavan rudr ki upasana men nirantar tallin rahen. tab gyani purush ka pran nishchit roop se 'parabrahm' tak pahunch jata hai. yog-sadhana (pranayam)

  • jab man athava pran niyantran men nahin hota, tab vishay-vasanaon ki or bhatakata hai. vishayi vyakti papakarmon men lipt ho jata hai. yadi 'pranayam' vidhi se pran ka niyantran kar liya jaye, to pap ki sambhavana nasht ho jati hai.
  • asan, mudra, pratyahar, pranayam, dhyan aur samadhi hathayog ke chhah karm mane gaye hain. inake prayog se sharir ka shodhan ho jata hai. sthirata, dhairy, halakapan, snsar-asaktivihin aur atma ka anubhav hone lagata hai. samany vyakti 'pranayam' ka arth vayu ko andar khinchana, rokana aur nikalana matr samajhate hain. yah bhramak sthiti hai.
  • pran-shakti snsar ke kan-kan men vyapt hai. vayu men bhi pran-shakti hai. isilie pranayam dvara vayu men sthit pran-shakti ko niyantrit kiya jata hai pran par niyantran hote hi sharir aur man par niyantran ho jata hai. pranayam karane vala sadhak bahy vayu ke dvara arogy, bal, utsah aur jivani-shakti ko shvas dvara apane bhitar le jata hai, use kuchh der bhitar rokata hai aur phir usi vayu ko bahar ki or nikalakar andar ke anek rogon aur nirbalataon ko bahar phenk deta hai.
  • 'pranayam' ke lie sadhak ko sthan, kal, ahar, adi ka poora dhyan rakhana chahie. 'shuddhata' isaki sabase badi shart hai. 'pranayam' karate samay tin sthitiyan- 'poorak, kumbhak' aur 'rechak' hoti hain.
  1. 'poorak' ka arth hai- vayu ko nasika dvara sharir men bharana,
  2. 'kumbhak' ka arth hai- vayu ko bhitar rokana aur
  3. 'rechak' ka arth hai- use nasika chhidron dvara sharir se bahar nikalana.

sidhe hath ke angoothe se nasika ke sidhe chhidr ko band karen aur baen chhidr se shvas khinchen, bayan chhidr bhi anguli se band karake shvas ko roken, phir dahine chhidr se vayu ko bahar nikal den. is bich 'onkar' ka smaran karate rahen. dhire-dhire abhyas se samay badhate jayen. isi prakar bayan chhidr band karake dahine chhidr se shvas khinchen, roken aur baen chhidr se nikal den. abhyas dvara ise ghanton tak kiya ja sakata hai. shanai:-shanai: atma men dhyan kendrit ho jata hai. niyamapoorvak kiye gaye abhyas dvara tin mah men hi 'atmgyan' ki prapti sambhav hai aur janm-maran ke chakr se mukt hokar 'moksh' prapt ho jata hai.
