yah brahman samaved ke 'kauthum shakha' se sambndhit hai. sayan ne ise apane bhashy men 'tandak kosh' kaha hai. isamen 6 adhyay hai isalie ise 'shadvinsh brahman' kahate hain. isake pncham prapathak ko 'adbhut brahman' ke nam se bhi jana jata hai. isamen bhookamp, akal adi ka varnan kiya gaya hai. samaved ke any brahmanon men- vnshabrahman aur samavidhan brahman pramukh hai. vnsh brahman men samaved ke rishiyon ki vnshavali hai. samavidhan brahman men vividh anushthanon ka varnan hai, isake atirikt isamen jadoo-tone se sambandhit baten bhi bhi hai.

shadavinsh-brahman kauthumashakhiy samaved ka dvitiy mahattvapoorn brahmanagranth hai. jaisa ki poorvat: snket kiya gaya, shadvinsh kadachith tandy brahman ka bhag mana jata raha hai.bhashyopakramanika men sayan ne ise 'tandakasheshabrahman' kaha hai. moolat: isamen somayagon ke tandyanookt vishayon ka tandy ki shrankhala men vivechan hai, is karan bhi yah tandy brahman ka parishishti pratit hota hai.

svaroop, vibhag tatha chayanakram

shadavinsh brahman men samprati chh: adhyay hain. nam se pratit hota hai ki pahale kabhi inhen ek hi adhyay mana jata hoga. shashth adhyay ki vishay-vastu shesh panch adhyayon ki vishayavastu se bhinn hai, atev adbhut-brahman ke nam se us ansh ki svatantr manyata bhi hai. is chhathe adhyay men prayashchitt aur shakunadi adbhut karmon ka varnan hai. kaha jata hai ki yah adhyay granth se paravarti kal men sambaddh hua. is sandarbh men pramukh yukti yah di jati hai ki pncham adhyay ka parisamapan 'iti' se hua hai-

  • sharma-snskaran ka shashth adhyay boli ke snskaran men pncham adhyay hai. shashth adhyay ke 'adbhut-brahman' ke nam se prapt hastalekhon se pratit hota hai ki paryapt prachinakal se isaki svatantragranth ke roop men manyata rahi hai.

pratham adhyay

isamen kul 7 khand hain, jinamen se pratham do khandon men subrahyanya nigad ka varnan hai. sargadi men brahm aur subrahm do hi ke astitvasoochak anshon se prarambh shadavinsh-brahman subrahmanya nigad ki gauravamayi prashnsa karake yajaman ko paramarsh deta hai ki vah subrahmanya ke sarvavidhavetta ko hi subrahmany ritvikh ke pad par niyukt kare. tritiy khand men tinon savanon ke sam aur unake chhandon ka niroopan hai. chaturthakhand men jyotishtom ke sutyah ke vakh se pahale ke krityon tatha vishvaroopagan ka vidhan he. pncham khand men vasishthagotrotpann brahman ko hi brahma ke pad par pratishthit karane ke lie kaha gaya ha. prajapati ne bhoo:, bhuv: aur sv: in tin mahavyahritiyon ko kramash: rigved-yajurved aur samaved se nissrit kiya. is khand se tin mahavyahritiyon tatha prayashchittaparak krityon ka bhi vidhan hai. shashth khand men bhi gyat-agyat trutiyon ka prayashchitt vihit hai. saptamakhand men arthavadapoorvak somadevavishayak arthath saumy charu ke nirvap ka vidhan hai.

dvitiy adhyay

isamen bhi 7 khand hain. 1-3 khandon men agnishtomantargat bahishpavaman ke retasya aur dhooraganon ka vidhan hai. chaturthakhand men hota, adhvaryu, brahma, udgata aur sadasy prabhriti ritvijon tatha hotrachchhnsi aur chamasadhvaryu adi upritvijon ke yagagat prakirn dharmon ka samany niroopan hai. 5-7 khandon men tinon savanon men chamas-bhakshan hetu upahavadi ka kathan hai.

tritiy adhyay

pratham do khandon men yah pradarshit hai ki hota adi ke dvara ki gee bhoolen yajaman ke lie hanikarak hoti hain, atev unhen apane karttavyakarm ka poorngyan prapt karake ygy ko ang-vaikaly se bachaye rakhana chahie, kyonki yajaman ki pashu-sampatti adhvaryu par, kirti hota par, yogakshem brahma par aur atma udgata par ashrit hai. tritiy khand men ritvikh-varan, raja se yag-bhoomi ki yachana aur yagarth upayukt bhoomi ka varnan hai. chaturth khand men avabhrith (snan) dharm, ygyavashisht dravy ka jal ke samip anayan aur rakshoghn sam (avabhrithahetuk) ke gan-hetuon adi ka niroopan hai. 5-9 khandon men abhicharayagon ka vidhan hai, jisake karan is brahman ka vishesh mahattv hai. pncham khand men trivritstom ki do vishtutiyon, shashth men pnchadashastom ki vishtuti, saptamakhand men saptadash stom ki vishtuti, ashtam men ekavinshastom ki vishtuti tatha navam men trinavastom ki vishtuti ka varnan hai.

chaturth adhyay

isamen chh: khand hain. pratham khand men vyoodhadvadashah yag ke dharmon ka chhandon ke kram-parivartan ka kathan karate hue niroopan hai. vastut: yahan keval nau dinon ke krityon ka hi vidhan hai, kyonki prayaniyakhy pratham din, udayaniyakhy 12ven din tatha 10ven din ke krity sabhi yagon men saman hote hain. dvitiy khand men shyenayag namak abhichar-yag ka niroopan tatha usake stotragat stomon aur samon ka kathan hai. tritiy aur chaturthakhandon men trivridagnishtom aur sndnsh-yagon ka niroopan hai. pnchamakhand men vajrayag ka vidhan tatha vajr aur sndnsh yagon men giyaman samon ka vaishishty pradarshit hai. shashth khand vaishvadevakhy trayodashah ke niroopan se sambaddh hai.

pncham adhyay

yah 7 khandon men vibhakt hain pratham khand men agnihotr-niroopan karate hue usaki jyotishtom se tulana ki gee hai. yajaman ke patr se ajy ke gir jane par prayashchitt ka vidhan hai. hutavashisht, havi hi isaki dakshina batalaee gee hai. dvitiy khand men kaha gaya hai ki agnihotr ke anushthan se hi any yagasadhy isht bhi sadhit ho jate hain. isake samarthan-hetu ek akhyayika bhi prastut ki gee hai. tritiy aur chaturth khandon men audumbari aur ygyyoop ka vaishishtyasahit niroopan hai. pncham khand men sandhyopasanavishayak vivaran prapy hai. shashth khand men chandrama ke ghatane-badhane ka niroopan hain devagan shuklapaksh men som-pan ki diksha lete hain aur krishnapaksh men som ka bhakshan karate hain. prithvi, antariksh aur dyulok- ye som-pan ke tin patr hain. chandrama ki 15 kalaen uparyukt patron ke dvara devataon ke bhakshan men kam a jati hai aur 16vin kala aushadhiyon men pravisht ho jati he. saptam khand men svaha devata ki utpatti, parivarik sambandh aur usake aksharadi ka kathan hai.

shashth adhyay

jaisa ki pahale sanket kiya gaya hai, is adhyay men adbhut karmo-anishton tatha apashakunon-ki shanti ka vidhan hai. isamen kul 12 khand hain, jinamen se-

  • pratham khand men palash ki samidhaon se 1008 ahutiyon ka vidhan hai. indr, yam, varun, dhanad, agni, vayu, som, aur vishnu in ath devon ke nimitt ath mantr diye gaye hain. ant men pathaniy svastivachan mantr hai.
  • dvitiy khand men shatru-vijay ke nimitt homavishesh ka pratipadan hai.
  • tritiy khand men indravishayak adbhut homavishesh ka anushthan vihit hai. yah tab karaniy hai jab maninirmit abhooshanon athava mata, ghatadi ki kshati ho, chitt-pida ho, rajakul ke sath vivad ka prasng ho, yan-chhatradi athava grih-bhag bhng ho jaye athava hathiyon aur ashvon men se kisi ki mrityu ho jaye.
  • chaturth khand men yam ke nimitt adbhut karmon ka anushthan vihit hai. is anushthan ke nimittavishesh hain- apane kutumbiyon athava pashuon ke sharir men vyadhi ho; du:svapn, anidra athava kshudha-nash ki sthiti ho; alasyadi se grasth ho. isake liye 108 bar 'nake.'[3] prabhriti rikh ka gan karake yam ke nimitt ahuti-pnchak pradey he.

  • saptam khand men agni se sambaddh apashakunon ke nivaran ki vidhi ullikhit hai. jab prithvi tad-tad karake phatane lage, usamen kampan hone lage, anagni dhoom utpann ho, bina varsha ke jal gire, jal men prakshipt patthar n doobe aur prakshipt mritasharir doob jaye, akal pushp-phal utpann hon, tab yah anushthey hai.
  • ashtamakhand men vayudev se sambaddh utpaton ke shamanahetu homavishesh vihit hai. isake nimitt vishesh hai- vayu ka atirek athava abhav, parvaton ka toot-tootakar girana, ghar men vany pashuon ka pravesh, akash men mans-khand aur rudhiradi ki varsha, ityadi.
  • navam khand men yajaman ke dvara svargabhimukh hokar kshom ke adbhuton ki shanti ka vidhan hai. is hom ke ye nimittavishesh hain- nakshatr tootakar girane lagana, ulkapat, antariksh men dhoomaketu ka avirbhav, gayon ke thanon se doodh ke sthan par raktastrav ityadi.
  • dasham khand men vishnujany adbhuton ki shanti ke nimitt homavishesh ka sampadan vihit he. isake nimitt vishesh hain- svapn men ayananaddh ashvadi ka gaman dekhana, dev-pratimaon ka hnsana tatha pasijana ityadi. is krity men svastivachan ke sath brahman-bhojan tatha dakshina ka bhi vidhan hai.
  • gyarahaven khand men rudr hai.
  • barahaven men sooryadaivaty adbhuton ki shanti ka vidhan hai.
