kintu dvijaraj bhatt ne 'snhita' shabd ke arth par vichar karate hue usase archik granth ka abhipray grahan kiya hai-
atr snhitashabden archikagrantha uchyante. adhyapakadhyetrina samyakh hitakary: snhita:. athava santataprakaren dvipadavasanenaiv adhiyana: snhita:. athava upavitanantarn shariravasanaparyantn santatamadhiyant iti snhita:.
parantu dvijarajabhatt ki vyakhya prakritaprasng men upadey nahin pratit hoti hai, kyonki snhitopanishad brahman ne snhita ka vargikaran 'devahoo' 'vakh shabahoo' aur 'amitrahoo' roop tin prakar se kiya hai. yah mandradisvarajany uchcharan par adhrit hai jo gan-vidhi ke bina sambhav nahin hai. dvijaraj snhitaon ke do roop manate hain, archikasnhita aur ganasnhita. unake anusar snhitopanishad brahman ke pratham aur dvitiy khandon men kramash: inaka niroopan hua hai.[2] is prakar prastut brahman men snhita k vibhajan vibhinn shreniyon men kiya gaya hai. oopar 'devahoo' prabhriti bhed ullikhit hai. inake gan-prakaron ka ashray lene vale samagon ke lie vibhinn phalon ka nirdesh bhi hai. devahoo-snhita vah hai, jisaka uchcharan mandrasvar se hota hai aur usake gan se devagan shighr padharate hain. devahoo prakar ka udgata samriddhi, putr, pashu adi ki prapti karata hai aur vakshabahoo prakar se gayan karane vala, jo aspashtaksharon men gan karata hai, shighr hi mar jata hai. age snhita ka shuddha, du:sprishta aur nirbhuja roopon men vibhajan kiya gaya hai. inake atirikt devadrishti se bhi snhita ka vargikaran hai. dvitiy aur tritiy khandon men sam-gan ki padvati ka vidhivath niroopan hai, jo samagataon ke lie atyant mahattvapoorn hai. tritiy khand men vidya-dan ki drishti se adhikariyon ka ullekh kiya gaya hai. chaturth aur pncham khandon men bhi isi vishay ka upabrinhan hua hai. prakrit prasng me, isake 'vidya h vai brahmanamajagam' prabhriti mantr atyant mahattvapoorn hain, jinhen nirukt men uddhrit aur manusmriti ityadi men sandarbhit kiya gaya hai. granth ke chaturth khand men prasngat: vividh guru-dakshinaon ka bhi vidhan hai. is par do bhashy prapt hote hain- sayanakrit 'vedarthaprakash' aur dvijarajabhattakrit bhashyh. vedarthaprakash adyavadhi pratham khand tak hi upalabdh hai. dvijarajabhatt ka bhashy sabhi khandon par hai. anek sthalon par vah sayan ki apeksha adhik upayogi hai. 1965 ee. men daau. bi.ar. sharma ke dvara snpadit snhitopanishad brahman tirupati se prakashit hua hai.
