krishnayajurved ki maitrayani shakha se sambaddh varah shrautasootr kalevar men laghu tatha kanakram se pashchatavarti hone par bhi shraut sahity men apana vishisht sthan rakhata hai. yah shrautasootr tin adhyayon men vibhakt hai– praksomik, agnichayan tatha vajapey. in adhyayon ka avantar vargikaran khandon tatha sootron men kiya gaya hai. varah shrautasootr men agnichayan, darshapaurnamas, agnyadhan, punaradhan, agnihotr, pashubandh, chaturmasy, vajapey, dvadashah, gavamayan, rajasooy, ashvamedh evn sautramani adi ygyon ka niroopan hai.

paribhashik sootron

varah shrautasootr ke pratham bhag ke pratham adhyay men paribhashik sootron ka snkalan hai. isamen rathakar ko bhi ygy ka adhikar diya gaya hai. yahan ritvijon ki yogyata par bhi prakash dala gaya hai. is shrautasootr ke arambh men agnyadhaneshti ka varnan hai. is prasng men vibhinn sambharon, yatha– varahavihit, valmik vapa adi ka niroopan hua hai. manav ki hi bhanti is shrautasootr men agnyadhan men brahmaudan tatha vratopayan ke niyamon ka ullekh hai. charon ritvijon ko bhinn–bhinn dakshina dene ka vidhan agnyadhan ki samapti par kiya gaya hai. agnyadhan ke prasng men is shrautasootr men agnipavaman, pavak tatha shuchi; in tinon ishtiyon ka varnan hai. sharadh men vaishy ko, varsha men rathakar ko tatha any varnon ko shishir ritu men agnyadhan karana chahie. agnyadhan ke viphal hone aur abhisht phal ki prapti n hone par punaradhaneshti ka vidhan kiya gaya hai. punaradhaneshti men agni vaishvanar ke lie dvadashak–palak utsadaniyeshti ka nirvap kiya jata hai. punaradhan varsha athava sharadh ritu men rohini, anuradha tatha punarvasu men se kisi ek nakshatr men kiya ja sakata hai. poornahuti se poorv sntatihom karana tatha dakshina men svarn dena chahie.

havirdravy

agnihotr prat: tatha sanyakal agni ko uddisht kar sampadit karana chahie. kamananusar havirdravy ka vidhan hai. pashu kamana men dugdh se, gram kamana men jau se, tejash kamana men ajy se, indriy kamana men dadhi se tatha bal kamana men tandul se agnihotr yag kane ka vidhan hai. darshapoornamas ka sampadan sarvakamana se tis varsh tak athava yavajjivan karana chahie. darsheshti ke ang ke roop men amavasya ke aparahn men pindapitriygy ka sampadan karana chahie.[1] chaturmasy ka vaishvadev parv pashukamana se kiya jata hai. varun praghas ke prasng men mesh–meshikaran tatha karambh patron ka varnan kiya gaya hai. shunasiriy parv ka sampadan gram, annavrishti, pashu tatha svarg kamana se kiya jata hai.

yoopachhedan

pashuyag men vaishnav ahuti dekar yoopachhedan karane ka vichar hai. yoogyiyayoop panch aratni ka hona chahie. yoop ke kashth ka is shrautasootr men nirdesh nahin kiya gaya hai. pashu angon ka bhi vistrit varnan upalabdh hota hai. brahman athava kshatriy ko sharad ritu men vajapey yag karana chahie. is yag men satrah diksha aur tin upasad hote hain. saptadash snkhya ka is yag men vishesh mahattv hai. prajapati hetu saptadash–pashu ka vidhan hai. yoop saptadash aratni matr lambe hote hain. sabhi ritvikh hiranyastrajh dharan karate hain.[2] vajapey yag ki dakshina men bhi saptadash snkhya ka yog prapt hota hai. vajapey yag ki samapti brahaspatisav namak krity se hoti hai. gavamayan ygy ka arambh poornamasi se poorv ekadashi ko dikshakarm se vihit hai. varah shrautasootr men rajasooy yag ka adhikari raja ko bataya gaya hai. rajasooy yag men abhishechaniy, sanvatsarik chaturmasy, dashapeyadi krityon ka vishad varnan upalabdh hota hai. is shrautasootr men charak sautramani tatha kokil sautramani ke roop men do sautramaniyon ka niroopan kiya gaya hai.

ashvamedh yag

varah shrautasootr men ashvamedh yag vijigishu ke lie vihit hai. is yag men ek varsh tak savitri–prasavitri, savitri–asavitri tatha satyaprasav–savitri hetu tin haviyon se yajan ygyanushthata dvara kiya jata hai. ashv ko prakshalit karake usaka upakaran karate hain. is upakrit ashv ke mukh se lekar agali tangon tak ke bhag ko mahishi kasambu ke tel se chikana karati hai. usase age nabhi tak ke pradesh men vavata guggul ka tel aur usake age prishth tak ke avashisht bhag men parivrikta mustakrit ka tel chupadati hai.[3] isake pashvat tinon– mahishi, vavata aur parivrikti kramash: svarn, rajat aur shnkh maniyan sahastr snkhya men ashv ke bandhati hain. mahishi abhishek ke yogy rajapootron aur sau putriyon ke sath ‘bhoo’ mantr se, vavata ‘bhuv:’ mantr se rajaon aur unaki sau putriyon sahit ashvangon men kramash: svarn, rajat aur shnkhamaniyon ko pravisht karakar ashvabhishek karati hain. ashvamedhayaji mrityu tatha brahmahatya jaise pap se mukt ho jata hai. is prakar nishkarsh roop men kaha ja sakata hai ki varah shrautasootr men ygyon ka snkshipt kramik vivaran milata hai. somayagon ki prakriti agnishtom yag tatha any anek ekahon, ahinon, satron, purushamedh, sarvamedh jaise mahattvapoorn krityon ka isamen abhav hai.

varah shrautasootr par koee bhi vyakhya upalabdh nahin hai. pro. kaland aur daau. raghuvir ke dvara sampadit roop men yah shrautasootr pratham bar lahaur se sanh 1933 men meharachand lakshmanadas ke dvara prakashit hua tha. isi ka punarmudran 1971 ee. men dilli men hua. sanh 1988 men pune se shri chin. g. kashikar ke dvara susampadit aur shodhapoorn snskaran prakashit hua hai, jo sarvashreshth hai.
