devarshi narad ne kaha ki "maianne ek bar srishtikarta apane pita brahma ji se poochha tha. us samay paramarth-tathv ke vishay mean brahma ji ne kaha- "bhagavan narayan hi samasht praniyoan ke athma haian. ve hi prabhu jagadadhar haian. ve hi sanatan paramathma pachis tathvoan ke roop mean prakashit ho rahe haian. jagath ki srishti, raksha tatha pralay narayan se hi hota hai. vishav, taijas, prajn-ye trividh athma narayan se hi hota hai. vishav, taijas, prajn-ye trividh athma narayan hi haian. ve hi sabake adhishhvar, ekamatr sanatan dev haian. yogigan jnan tatha yog ke dvara unhhian jaganhnath ka sakshathkar karate haian. jinaka chitt narayan mean laga haian, jinake pran narayan ko arpit haian, jo keval narayan ke hi parayan haian, ve narayan ki kripa aur shakti se jagath mean door aur samip, bhoot, vartaman aur bhavishhy, shthool aur sookshhm- sabako dekhate haian. unase kuchh ajnat nahian rahata. brahma ji ne devataoan se ek din kaha tha, dharm narayan ke ashrit hai. sab sanatan lok, yajn, shashtr, ved, vedaang tatha aur bhi jo kuchh hai, sab narayan ke hi adhar par haian. ve avhyakt purush narayan hi prithhvi adi panchabhoot roop haian. yah samasht jagath vishnumay hai. papi manushhy is tathv ko nahian janata. jinaka chitt un vishhveshhvar mean laga hai, jinaka jivan un shrihari ko arpit hai, aise paramarth-jnata hi un param purushoan ko janate haian. narayan hi sab bhootaroop haian, ve hi sab mean vhyapht haian, ve hi sabaka palan karate haian. samasht jagath unhhian se uthpann hai, unhhian mean pratishthit hai. ve hi sabake shvami haian. srishti ke liye ve hi brahma, palan ke liye vishnu aur sanhar ke liye rudr roop dharan kiye haian. ve hi lokapal haian. ve parathpar purush hi sarvadhar, nishhkal, sakal, anu aur mahanh haian. sabako unhhian ke sharan hona chahiye."
devarshi ne kaha- "brahma ji ne aisa kaha tha, at: dvij shreshhth. tum bhi unhhian shrihari ki sharan lo. un narayan ko chho dakar bhaktoan ke abhishht ko poora karane vala aur koee nahian hai. ve hi purushottam sabake pita-mata haian; ve hi lokesh, devadev, jagathpati haian. aghnihotr, tap, adhhyayan adi sabhi sathkarmoan se nithy-niranhtar savadhani ke sath ekamatr unhhean hi sanhtushht karana chahiye. tum un purushottam ki hi sharan lo. unaki sharan hone par n to bahut se manhtroan ki avashhyakata hai, n vratoan ka hi prayojan hai. ek narayan manhtr– ooan namo narayanay hi sab manorathoan ko poora karane vala hai. bhagavan ki aradhana mean kisi bahari vesh ki avashayakata nahian. kap de pahane ho ya digamhbar ho, jatadhari ho ya mooan d mu daye ho, thyagi ho ya grahashth ho- sabhi bhagavan ki bhakti kar sakate haian. chihn (vesh) dharm ka karan nahian hai. jo log pahale nirday, papi, dushhtathma aur kukarmarat rahe haian, ve bhi narayan-parayan hone par param dham ko prapht ho jate haian. bhagavan ke param bhakt pap ke kich d mean kabhi lipht nahian hote. ahiansa se chitt ko jitakar ve bhagavad bhakt tinoan lokoan ko pavitr karate haian. prachin kal mean anek log prem se bhagavan ka bhajan karake unhhean prapht kar chuke haian. shrihari ki aradhana se sabako param gati milati hai aur usake bina koee paramapad nahian pa sakata. brahmachari, grihashth, vanaprashth, sannhyasi-koee bhi ho, paramapad to bhagavan ke bhajan se hi milata hai. maian haribhaktoan ka das hooan, yah subuddhi sahashtroan janhmoan ke ananhtar bhagavan ki kripa se hi prapht hoti hai. aisa purush bhagavan ko prapht kar leta hai. tattvajn purush isiliye chitt ko sab or se hatakar nithy-niranhtar ananhyabhav se sanatan param purush ka hi dhhyan karate haian. devarshi narad yah upadesh dekar chale gaye."
dridh eeshvar bhakti
punhdarik ki bhagavad bhakti devarshi ke upadesh se aur bhi dridh ho gayi. ve narayanamanhtr ka akhanhd jap karate aur sada bhagavan ke dhhyan mean nimaghn rahate. unaki sthiti aisi ho gayi ki unake hriday kamal par bhagavan govinhd sada prathyaksh virajaman rahane lage. sathvagun ka poora samrajhy ho jane se nidra, jo purusharth ki virodhini aur tamoroopa hai, sarvatha nashht ho gayi. bahut-se mahapurushoan mean yah dekha aur suna jata hai ki unake man aur buddhi mean bhagavan ka avirbhav hua aur ve divhyabhagavadaroop mean parinat ho gaye; kiantu kisi ka shthool sharir divhy ho gaya ho, yah nahian suna jata. aisa to kadachith hi hota hai. punhdarik mean yahi lokottar avashtha prakat huee. unaka nishhpap deh shhyamavarn ka ho gaya, char bhujaean ho gayian; un hathoan mean shankh, chakr, gada, padm a gaye. unaka vastr pitamhbar ho gaya. ek tejomanhdal ne unake sharir ko gher liya. punhdarik se ve ‘punhdarikaksh’ ho gaye. van ke sianh, vhyaghr adi kroor pashu bhi unake pas apana parashpar ka sahaj vair-bhav bhoolakar ekatr ho gaye aur prasannata prakat karane lage. nadi-sarovar, van-parvat, vriksh-lataean-sab punhdarik ke anukool ho gaye. sab unaki seva ke liye phal, pushhp, nirmal jal adi prashtut rakhane lage. punhdarik bhaktavathsal bhagavan ki kripa se unake athyanht priyapatr ho gaye the.
bhagavan ka darshan

bhagavan ne punhdarik ko varadan maangane ke liye kaha. punhdarik ne vinayapoorvak uttar diya- "bhagavan. kahaan to maian durbuddhi prani aur kahaan ap sarveshavar, sarvajn. mere param suhad shvami. apake darshan ke pashachat aur khya shesh rah jata hai, jise maanga jay-yah meri samajh mean nahian ata. mere nath. ap mujhe maangane ka adesh kar rahe haian to maian yahi maangata hooan ki maian abodh hooan; at: jisamean mera kalhyan ho, vahi ap karean." bhagavan ne apane charanoan mean p de punhdarik ko uthakar hriday se laga liya. ve bole- "vaths. tum mere sath chalo. tumhhean chho dakar ab maian nahian rah sakata. ab tum mere dham mean mere samip, meri lila mean sahayog dete hue nivas karo." bhagavan ne punhdarik ko apane sath garu d par baitha liya aur apane nithy dham le gaye.
