ramanath—‘dastoori rishvat nahian hai, sabhi lete haian aur khullam-khulla lete haian. log bina maange ap-hi-ap dete haian, maian kisi se maangane nahian jata. ’ dayanath—‘sabhi khullam-khulla lete haian aur log bina maange dete haian, isase to rishvat ki buraee kam nahian ho jati.’
ramanath—‘dastoori ko band kar dena mere vash ki bat nahian. maian khud n looan, lekin chaparasi aur muharrir ka hath to nahian pak d sakata ath-ath, naunau pane vale naukar agar n lean, to unaka kam hi nahian chal sakata maian khud n looan, par unhean nahian rok sakata .’ dayanath ne udasin bhav se kaha—‘maianne samajha diya, manane ka akhtiyar tumhean hai.’

ramanath—‘jo bura hai, dagabaj hai, dhoort hai, usaki nianda honi hi chahie.’
jalapa ne vyagr hokar poochha—‘tumane chitthiyaan padhalian kya?’
rama ne nidyasankoch bhav se kaha,haan, yah koee akshamy aparadh hai?’

jalapa—‘maian tumhean chianta mean nahian dalana chahati. ab maian bhoolakar bhi gahanoan ka nam n looangi.’
